Exceptional hosts, superb apartment, very clean and cozy, comfortable bed, everything in the apartment has been thought of. Easy access, parking in front of the block. Special thanks to the hosts, who took into account our late arrival and if we had to wake them up during the night. Thank God we didn't have to, but for us the gesture is important.

Everything was good. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos, big, pleasant, very clean and modern. There was free WiFi and a washing machine. The location was central. There was a parking spot in the back yard.

Remarkable town.

Remarkable town. Busy, growing, a Mecca for entrepreneurs and established businesses, etc. Being located in an agricultural dominated environment - it offers much more than ones would expect: a folklore festival every year - called "Vinkovacke Jeseni". A must see! Also, excellent food with local recipes and ingrediencies. And ... a rich history reaching back to the Roman Empire.

Small town.

Small town. Well located to get to the Croatia / Serbia border early in the morning. Nice square and a pedestrian area with a good number of bars / coffee shops. Not a great deal to entertain you in this area, unless you’re into hiking or bike riding

A small town typical of the Balkans with a river crossing...

A small town typical of the Balkans with a river crossing the village. There are dozens of cafes and restaurants in the city center. A convenient place to stay overnight if passing through the area. Note that not all locals are hospitable. We recommend avoiding the restaurant LU even though it is very cozy. The staff purposefully avoided us for 40 minutes probably because we didn't speak their language. We ended up not being able to dine there and missed all the other restaurants. We still managed to have a few beers near the river at Caffe bar Medusa where the staff were very nice and welcoming.
