10/10 stars across the board! This place is truly a hidden gem of a hotel. I wasn’t expecting that much given the reasonable prices, and while it’s no 5 star hotel, it was one of the best hotels I stayed in during my 3-4 months in SE Asia. My room was much bigger than most other places here. Clean as well and no smell in the bathroom. Felt like it had been redone recently because it was all new construction. Plus the little cafe in the front was very cute and served coffee and food.

Everything, what an exceptional hotel is this. Thank you so much for the upgrade! It was super clean, we had everything and the staff was so nice to our little boy that was for me the most important of our whole experience, we said one time his name and the whole staff knew him. This is A+ service also the extra questions if we needed something or think how to make our stay more pleasant. The massage service in this hotel is excellent. Also the food is excellent even in the morning there is sate! This is the best hotel where we stayed in whole indonesia, It's the first time we didn't want to leave the place. Thank you so much for this experience that went above our imagination. Again thank you staff en gm's!

Colonial Town & Shopping Paradise

With a cooler climate than other cities on the Java Island, Bandung is located at an altitude of 768 metres, surrounded by tea plantations and the Parahyangan Mountains. This lush paradise was once a chic retreat for European colonialists and plantation owners, and still keeps some of its famous legacy.

During the 17th and 18th centuries, the Dutch East Indies Company (VOC) established several plantations and built a road linking to the capital, becoming the base for future expansions. At the beginning of the 20th century, chic restaurants, trendy boutiques, and luxurious Art Deco hotels helped Bandung to build the reputation of a ‘Paris of Java’.

Even though World War II stopped the Dutch attempt to move the colonial capital to Bandung, buildings like the magnificent ‘Gedung Sate’ remain witnesses of such enterprise. Other must-see landmarks are the ‘Gedung Merdeka’ and the Bandung Institut of Technology. Jalan Asia-Afrika street is still one of the main roads, and remains a popular area to find hotels in Bandung. The shopping areas are still a magnet for tourists, and many hotels, apartments and inns can be found here.

The WHOOSH Speed Train was awesome fast, comfortable and gave us peace of mind traveling to Bandung. Travel from Halim (Jakarta) to Padalarang (Bandung vicinity) takes about 30 minutes at speeds up to 350 km/h. We recommend engaging a driver through Kiki Travel they were efficient and offered affordable rates, making the journey smooth and hassle-free to explore outside Bandung such as Lembang about 1hour from Bandung. Hygiene at this places is a major concerned cause they have to at least install a fly trap at the cafe and restaurant. Stunning view and nice location but lots of flies.

Many historical places, impressive buildings,mainly linked to the Dutch past. Food is excellent, culinary heart of Indonesia. The vicinity of Tankuban Perahu volcano mountain adds to the enchantment of Bandung.

Bandung is beautiful. Greenery everywhere. The food was good. People were friendly and helpful. The only thing is going to the recommended places like Kawah Putih (South of Bandung) or Orchid Cikole Forestry (North of Bandung) are quite far away which is fine but better to book a grab or taxi in advance if you want to go back to Bandung City since there is no grab or taxi around those areas. Or charter a car if you want to go to these places. It's a good thing our grab driver offered to take us back or else we may have some time to find a grab/taxi. Nevertheless, I enjoyed Bandung. It's beautiful!

The traffic was absolutely appalling. Admittedly we were there for the last weekend of the school holidays, + one extra. However, 2 hours to go 8.2 kilometres drove us nuts - and that was one of the better trips. Try 5 and a half hours to go 44 kilometres - and there was a LOT of time spent stationary. If you have a choice, don't come here - and definitely don't come during school holidays or on a weekend. We went to both Kawah Putih and Tangkuban Perahu (different days). They were worth seeing - but only if you can avoid Bandung traffic.

I liked everything about this place, the room was beautiful, I booked the Toproof room and was amazed with the room and the grand terrace with jacuzzi. The breakfast you choose from a menu and Gugun our host will make sure you get what you ask for. Gugun is just amazing helping you with everything you need, tours, transfers you name it is a 5 star men. You can have dinner at the hotel and the food is yummy. The pool is fantastic and the gardens beautiful. I will not hesitate to stay here again if will be back in Bandung again...Excellent.

Great value for money. The hotel has an excellent location from Bandung train station. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The bathroom looks a bit dated, but it was clean and had all the necessary facilities. The shower also had a good water pressure and nice hot water. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was simple but they still give enough options to choose from: fresh fruits, nasi goreng, toast, cereals.. It was all I needed after a long flight and train ride.

really liked this hotel. decor and fittings personally really liked. staff were all really great! breakfast is awesome....stayed 4 nights and every day different options for breakfast with good coffee. good views and nice rooftop bar. good central location plenty of restos/cafes close by. bandung very spread out but easily got gocars to get around when wanted to go further than walking distance.

The room was quite big and very clean, also the bathroom, Breakfast was really delicious with many kinds fruits, Asian, American and Continental breakfast. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I had very good and relax massage at spa with very professional therapist Ms. Riri. For sure I will return and stay at Hilton hotel when we visit Bandung again.
