My stay at Senjas was a wonderful, authentic and real experience with a local family. It was real because I was the only guest and experiences and incredible time with them. It is a very new homestay, so everything was very clean, new bathroom with a sitting toilet (not usual in Raja Ampat), an own beach, beautiful sunsets on your veranda. The food was incredible delicious, I liked their spices, also important to mention it was an all-inclusive stay with a lot of food for myself (on booking it said only breakfast). You have access to the nearby village and can walk to it. The family was helpful and did day trips with me for snorkelling adventure. If you are into socializing with other travellers, it might not be ideal because I was there alone but there were 2 bungalows.

The best homestay we’ve ever stayed at! We were absolutely delighted with this homestay. Everything is done with so much care and attention—the space is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The food is simply amazing, prepared with dedication and full of flavor. The family running the homestay is incredibly friendly. Although they don’t speak English, they use translation apps to communicate, and if their nephew is on vacation, it’s very easy to communicate in English. Tomás, who manages the homestay, is fantastic! He made sure to take us to all the places we wanted to visit and even offered us a boat tour around the area on our last day—a wonderful gesture! The bungalow is simple but cozy, equipped with a large fan and a mosquito net, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay. The location couldn’t be better, with sea views on both sides of the island and breathtaking sunsets that are truly magical. The homestay is completely isolated, offering the perfect environment for tranquility and relaxation, despite being very well located close to key spots. Speaking of location, must-visit spots like Pyanemo, Tugas Island, and Melissa Garden are just 5-10 minutes away by boat. The only downside is the lack of network coverage at the homestay, so it’s important to plan all your activities and dives in advance if they’re not directly arranged with the homestay. The bathroom is simple but super clean. The shower is traditional, using a bucket, but it’s surprisingly pleasant. If you’re looking for diving experiences, we highly recommend Pam’s Divers. They are slightly farther away, but they are extremely professional and friendly, making the experience even better. An unforgettable experience—we highly recommend it!

Meos Ambower was our favourite stop in Raja Ampat! It is absolutely beautiful and Nick is amazing and helpful host, the friendliest guy wee met on our trip. The snorkeling in front of our room was so good, we saw so much cool maribe life right from our room. The beaches across the way were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. You must go and check out the coconut crabs while you are on the Island too, so cool. We wish we had more time here. We will be back for sure!

Rooms were good and clean, AC was working well. All of the facilities in the resort were in really good condition overall. We did multiple dives while staying there and have to thank Ross and the whole dive team, highly skilled and professional divers and all of the gear was in great condition. They also carried spare pieces of gear and emergency oxygen, which not many dive operators in RA do. All in all the best diving we have done in RA.
