The most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in - Koho Air on Gili Air! My family and friends were absolutely blown away by how awesome this place was! From the moment we arrived, the staff was like family, so kind and helpful with everything. They made us feel so welcome, and that kind of hospitality is just priceless. 🙏 The rooms were so beautifully decorated and well maintained, it was like we were staying in a tropical paradise. And don't even get me started on the pool, sunbeds, and lounge areas - they were all so clean and gorgeous! The bar was also amazing, with the coolest vibe and the staff were always making sure everything was perfect. There were nine of us in total, and we all had our 4 rooms, and everyone was just so happy with everything. Koho Air really raised the bar for hotels, and we're all already talking about going back just to stay there again! Thank you so so so much 🙏

We loved our stay! The hotel is beautifully decorated, the beach is amazing, and the food was delicious. The staff were so attentive, and even a small hiccup was fixed quickly and kindly. Truly an incredible experience!

I found this accommodation casually browsing but I am so happy I did. This is a little gem in Gili Air. I loved everything from the welcoming with a fresh towel and iced tea as I got here very tired and hot was just what I needed. The staff is amazing super friendly and kind especially Halid that gave me a little insight of the island with places to eat/activities… The room is just super cute, very spacious , clean and just the vibe I was looking for. There is nothing not to like about this little beautiful gem.

Loved this place! The rooms were very clean and comfortable as well and the bathrooms. I stayed in the family room with a friend and we each had our own rooms with a shared bathroom. I sat by the pool everyday after I did a little scuba diving which was a 4 minute bike ride from the villa to the beach. The location is also only about a 5 minute bike ride (10-12min walk) from the harbor. The staff and owners were amazing and always there to answer questions or give advice on where to eat or fun things to do around the island.

Hani Hideaway is a beautiful property, nestled in a quiet street off the Main Street and close to the islands port. It looks exactly as it does on Instagram and in the pictures, the attention to detail is spectacular. The gorgeous decor makes it a place of serenity. The staff are super attentive - I was unwell one day of my trip and the care and attention they gave me to make sure I had what I needed was like I was part of the Hani family! There is even a Hani guitar which they’ll play for you upon request! The cocktails are delicious and so is the tapas style food menu, and breakfast is superb full of fresh fruits (including mango’s and papaya) grown on the property itself!

The most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in - Koho Air on Gili Air! My family and friends were absolutely blown away by how awesome this place was! I went out of season, so was quieter.

I went out of season, so was quieter. Loved the relaxed atmosphere. It's a very chilled place with a nice slow place. There are plenty of things to find and do, from swimming, horse riding, silver smithing and cooking. But there are also lots of beach cafes to relax and watch the sunset. I found some excellent places to eat and drink. The people are lovely. Unfortuntely I required the medical centre and Nusa Medical were amazing. I also required an emergency boat to the hospital on Lombok - the agents at the port were amazing in finding me a private boat and door to door transfer. I will be going back again next year.

Insane snorkeling (bring a GoPro or rent one, you won't regret it!) - I saw multiple turtles on the tour I booked, gorgeous sunset horseriding, incredible seafood and Italian food, and really fun to just walk around the island and browse around the shops and sights.

Beautiful island and easy to get around on pushbike. Island hopping and snorkelling trips easy to organise. Island people very friendly. Plenty of restaurants and bars but still a relaxing island that's not full of noisy party people. Highly recommend Gili Air.

Such a beautiful house in a calm and quiet environment. Very stylish and comfortable and well kitted out with everything we needed. We loved it .The link with Mowies was great. We enjoyed breakfast on the beach as well as the evening cocktails.

Gili Air is a cat lovers paradise.

Gili Air is a cat lovers paradise. There are cats in the hotels, bars and on the beach. Gili Air was very relaxing and quiet due to it being November and the start of the rainy season. The beach area on the western side is lovely to swim at with a small lagoon. There are a number of bars and restaurants on the beach. More restaurants and bars in the 'town' area. The food, drinks and accommodation are much cheaper than tourist Bali areas. The ferry from Bali takes around 4 hours from Sanur Harbour and stops at Nusa Peninda, Gili T, Gili Meno, Gili Air and Lombok. I highly recommend staying at Elephant House and Bungalows. The restaurants along the beach have good food, happy hour cocktails and cats. Getting around Gili Air can be difficult with luggage as there is no motorised transport and only one paved road, the rest of the roads/laneways are sand. There are bicycles and electric scooters available for hire. There are many water based activities on offer and tours to the other islands.

The Gili Islands are beautiful, if you can look past the masses of European tourists who have overwhelmed it and who seem determined to create a French Riviera experience in Indonesia. Unfortunately, the locals - seeing where the money is - seem content to allow their island to be overrun. If you want to get gratin dauphinois or eat in a Greek cafe called Santorini in Indonesia whilst competing with the rest of the EU for a square of beach or to see a poor beleaguered turtle, then Gili islands is for you. If you're looking for an authentic Indonesian beach experience, go elsewhere.

Really amazing villa in the north of Gili Air. It had everything we wanted to make it a perfect stay. The staff made us feel super welcome and secure. They also went the extra mile at every opportunity. For example, one of the back wheels burst on one of the two bicycles we had during our stay (which the villa provides), and the hotel sent one of the staff members out to meet us with a new bike and took ours back to the villa.

We stayed 3 days in L'Archipel and had a wonderful time. The Pool area is comfortable, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. To explore Gili Air you can just rent a bike at the hotel. The breakfast is also good and you can order it a day in advance. Special thanks to the L'Archipel-Hotelstaff (Hamid, Rudi, Hermano, Ucup, Hip Hop). They are doing a great job. Terima kasih!

Booked this hotel last minute, and it was absolutely perfect! Lovely rooms, everyone was so friendly and lovely. Good location on gili air. Option to rent bikes was great to cycle round the island!
