Everything! It was soo beautiful. The view is stunning. Everything looks exactly like the picture!! Me and my best friend wanted a little weekend getaway as we have been living in bali for longterm already. It was the best decision ever! The staff was sooo nice and helpful. They offered to pic us up but we drove down ourselves. And when we wanted to leave it was raining quite alot so the staff offered to drive the bike up the road for us wich was so nice! They even offered to bring us to a dinner spot and do a bonfire for us. It was genuine one of the best places i’ve ever stayed at in bali!!! Super quiet and stunning. Perfect to relax and calm down a bit! 100% would recommend to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay at Lava Sky. The cabin was comfortable, the views were beautiful, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. A special mention goes to Ras, the incredibly friendly owner who truly goes the extra mile to accommodate his guests. His hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area

We stayed at this hotel before our climb to the volcano. The manager was very friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed discovering this hotel as a new and comfortable place, and when we took a dip in the hot spring, we felt truly blissful. It was amazing! Book it without hesitation. Amazing location in the mountain,its a bit harder to find on Google maps so make sure you find the indomart next door as my driver got lost. Pomo was so hospitable and amazing. He's an amazing host.welcome drink and breakfast.

We stayed at this place for two nights in June, and honestly, I hesitated for a long time before booking it, because I had read so many negative reviews. Now I’d like to share my own experience and respond to some of those concerns. 1. Location: Some people said the road to the hotel was terrible and even scary. Here’s what I can say: we had a private driver, not a regular taxi, and the road was asphalted almost the entire way. Even in the rain, it was totally fine. Yes, the last 5 minutes have some steep turns, but nothing extreme — any local driver will manage it easily. And here’s something no one mentioned (but absolutely should have): the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the main road, where you’ll find supermarkets, cafes, or can just go for a walk. They will drop you off and pick you up whenever it’s convenient for you. That’s an amazing service, and I was really surprised no one had written about it. 2. Insects: Yes, there are insects. But you’re literally in the mountains, surrounded by greenery — what do you expect? That said, small flies (especially during the day) can be annoying, so I highly recommend bringing an insect repellent spray — it’s a must. Also, bring something against mosquitoes. Just keep the windows and curtains closed after sunset, and you’ll be fine. 3. Kitchen: The kitchen was great — you really have everything you need to cook, and we actually did. The hotel provides basic ingredients like oil, jam, bread, eggs, instant noodles, a few sauces, etc. Plus, the store is only 5 minutes away by car, so you can get anything else you need. 4. Shower and Bath: It’s true — you won’t be able to take long, luxurious showers or fill up the bathtub quickly. But there’s enough hot water for a normal shower, and to be honest, I never really felt like using the bathtub anyway. In most places in Indonesia, bathtubs take a while to fill — it’s not unusual. 5.

The most friendly staff in the world! Every member of staff I met could not be more helpful and accommodating to our needs. The pool is heated so was lovely to enjoy even on slightly cooler days. The room was regularly cleaned during our stay. The setting was lovely, garden areas well maintained. Comfortable bed and pillows. The restaurant was amazing. Wide choice of food for breakfast including traditional Indonesian breakfasts along with cereals, croissants and fry up stuff.

We did 2 days which is more than enough, nothing really to see at the lake, and if you do go to temple, as usual pay to enter, pay sarong, and it’s dirty and pretty average. Mount Batur is however beautiful to view from Kintamani, the Specialty Coffee place was a cool looking establishment will terrible coffee! And as usual a odour that will scare you off. The township is so dirty, all their waste is put over the side of the hill. Sad to see so much neglect and waste dumped in this area which has so much beauty around.

Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and...

Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.

Many restaurants and chill place.Beautiful perfect picture overlooking the mountains. Love the weather in kintamani.Must try their local delicacy. To get here is best to have a local guide that can drive you around.Many hotspring to visit.

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and...

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.

Kintamani is a welcome breeze away from buzzing cities like Canggu and Ubud. It has beautiful nature around and is worth a visit. I would recommend to find a cool camping spot and hike up one of the volcanos.

The time period is based on the amount of activities you plan in the area. But if you just want to do hiking up the Mount Batur or only the Jeep in the sunrise - 1 night is enough of stay. The day before and after could be used for getting the views and some restaurants.

Everything was perfect! The staff was so nice and courteous. When I requested for honeymoon decoration in the room, Sugi even upgraded us to junior suite. The view from the room was breathtaking! The staff even woke us up at 2:30 AM for our sunrise trek which we booked from hotel, they took nice pictures for us in the room. Me and wife had a pleasant stay and it was the best stay of our honeymoon in Bali! The cafe food is reasonably priced and tastes so delicious.

It's a small family hotel but with amenities like a big resort! There are two infinity pools facing one side of Mount Batur, for a lovely view , somewhat atypical for the idea westerners have of Bali! The cooking is homemade, still very good! So is the breakfast! And they helped us organising a trip to see the sunrise up in Mount Batur, a must see in Bali (if you can trek for 600m D+). 5 minutes walk from two competing thermal stations,worth the detour!
