An incredible stay! The villa itself was absolutely stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The bathroom was amazing, felt like super luxurious. The villa was equipped with full kitchen hardware and even stocked with complementary snacks and drinks and food. It felt peaceful and private, yet close enough to everything we needed. The atmosphere was magical, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. They arrange pick up and drop off from the main street since the road might be challenging for inexperienced drivers. They also take you to the main area of Kintamani if you need breakfast or go to the store. Value for your money is like nothing else. Truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed and WILL come back again. 10 stars is not enough for this one!

We had a wonderful stay at Lava Sky. The cabin was comfortable, the views were beautiful, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. A special mention goes to Ras, the incredibly friendly owner who truly goes the extra mile to accommodate his guests. His hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area

This hidden gem is an absolute MUST for anyone wanting to experience a magical Kintamani sunrise! We witnessed the most beautiful morning from the comfort of the bed and the balcony, watching the lights change colour and revealing the gorgeous mountains was an incredible experience we will never forget! The staff here are wonderful, they are so kind and helpful and did everything to make our short stay special, from offering to help us with our bags, to a welcome drink, recommendations for dinner and a truly delicious breakfast! I will be dreaming about the egg for days to come. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. It was a cool retreat from the heat outdoors. We arrived tired after a long day and left feeling well rested and truly refreshed. We could not have asked for a better stay and our only regret is not staying longer. If you are considering staying here, DO IT! It was the highlight of our Bali trip.

Magical place suspended in a steep slope of the forest, just outside the caldera of Mt. Batur. The wooden cozy villas, the details, the yoga terrace, the sento hot bath, the treetop restaurant, everything just made me want to stay. And the warmth and care of the staff was 5 star.

Amazing magical view from the bed and from the terrace. Good quality amenities. The owners were very helpful, thank you! There is a restaurant 5 min walking (they can get you by motorbike for free) which has good food and very nice views

We did 2 days which is more than enough, nothing really to see at the lake, and if you do go to temple, as usual pay to enter, pay sarong, and it’s dirty and pretty average. Mount Batur is however beautiful to view from Kintamani, the Specialty Coffee place was a cool looking establishment will terrible coffee! And as usual a odour that will scare you off. The township is so dirty, all their waste is put over the side of the hill. Sad to see so much neglect and waste dumped in this area which has so much beauty around.

Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and...

Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.

Many restaurants and chill place.Beautiful perfect picture overlooking the mountains. Love the weather in kintamani.Must try their local delicacy. To get here is best to have a local guide that can drive you around.Many hotspring to visit.

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and...

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.

Kintamani is a welcome breeze away from buzzing cities like Canggu and Ubud. It has beautiful nature around and is worth a visit. I would recommend to find a cool camping spot and hike up one of the volcanos.

The time period is based on the amount of activities you plan in the area. But if you just want to do hiking up the Mount Batur or only the Jeep in the sunrise - 1 night is enough of stay. The day before and after could be used for getting the views and some restaurants.

The place is completely new, so all the facilities feel modern and fresh. The bathroom is excellent, and everything is spotless and very well-maintained. The view of Mount Batur from the front of the cottage is truly breathtaking. Its location is ideal for anyone planning to hike or take a jeep tour up Mount Batur. And John is by far the best host we've met in Bali—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. He can assist with anything you need!

We loved everything about the Lava Bali Villa and Hot Spring. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms comfortable, the hot spring was amazing, the staff and owner so very friendly and accommodating. It was located near the mount Batur so very easy to organise the climb. They also provided a really nice breakfast and even a diner for our group. Would definitely recommend this place you won't be disappointed.

This was our best experience on the island so far & we managed to do 4 activities in our 4 day stay: Mount Batur sunrise trek Sacred hot springs Kayaking on the lake Visiting the temple Our guides were really accommodating also, everyone made our time in the highlands one to treasure.

This property we booked because of the trip to the mountain Batur. It is located in the pinewoods - something different to the whole island with the palms. It is really close to mountain region. Staff was professional. Every hotel we visited in Bali while travelling for 3 weeks (5 hotels), this one was the worst.
