The room was rustic and quirky, with a comfortable bed, hot water shower and aircon. Tranquil, lush surroundings not far from a village. Our host Robbie was very attentive, and speaks good English. We ate dinner at the homestay, and it was delicious, a simple and traditional chicken dish, with incredible flavors. One of our most enjoyable meals in Indonesia. This is a great place to break the journey from Sumbawa Besar to the surf beaches further south, or as a place for those seeking peace and tranquility. There is a waterfall approx 1.5 hours walk from the guesthouse, but we were short of time so didn't manage to visit it. Exceptional value for money.

You are literally on the beach. Reef in front of you and with high tide you can snorkel! I was with my family who didn’t surf, we came here only for relaxing in a local place away from mass tourism. It’s freaking awesome! Locals are always so welcoming and friendly, only us and 2-3 other guests in the other rooms. The room is basic and the bathroom too, if you are a cool traveller who don’t mind “basic” this is a treasure!

this was a very special place for an amazing local experience. it was sad that we could only stay for one day, but we really loved it here. you have you’re own little hut in the middle of the village, its super comfortable with a roof were you can chill and watch the fireflies at night. the area is beautifull to drive around. i would deff recommend staying here, you won’t regret. super clean also and good taking care of.
