We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Swiss-Belcourt Lombok hotel and wanted to share our positive experience with you. The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly its exceptionally friendly staff. From the moment we arrived until the end of our stay, every member of the team went out of their way to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We appreciated that we were able to check out late. The breakfast at the hotel deserves special mention, as it was not only abundant but also wonderfully diverse. The buffet included local Asian delicacies, as well as Western options and fresh fruits. This variety was a delightful surprise, catering to different tastes and ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The hotel's amenities, such as the swimming pool area and small gym, added to the overall appeal. Both were well-maintained and provided a relaxing and enjoyable way to unwind. The rooms were not only immaculate but also thoughtfully decorated, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The proximity to the airport was a convenience, and the complimentary shuttle service to the airport was a thoughtful touch that enhanced the overall experience. In conclusion, our stay at Swiss-Belcourt Lombok was highly enjoyable, thanks to the exceptional service, excellent breakfast choices, and well-maintained facilities. I think I am spoiled after staying at El Tropico Hotel in Lombok! Service, food, location, price, room design, staffs, atmosphere...everything is PERFECT! We stayed at El Tropico during Christmas, booked 2 different types of room - one with bathtub and one without. El Tropico gave a free upgrade to the room of my partner's mom to the same type as a little X'mas gift. This is a sweet surprise and very heartwarming! Service was impeccable!! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. Staffs are super friendly and polite, every single staff went above and beyond to make your stay filled with happiness and unforgettable. 2 thumbs up for Wahyu (Front Desk "Santa Claus"), Egis, Sa, Dede, Fikri, Putri..... and all other staffs who we didn't have enough time to get their names. Thank you sooooo much for the top notch service. Food and drinks - yum yum yum. We had cocktail happy hour everyday by the pool. Breakfast - you have a menu to choose from but the options basically covers everything you want for breakfast, portion is big. Don't miss the smoothie bowl and avocado toast!! Choose the package with breakfast, you won't regret. They have 3 very clean swimming pools - a long one on the roof top which we stay everyday, less people and there are some cabanas for hotel guests, more chill out atmosphere. If you prefer some music, the ground floor big pool is fantastic, don't worry, it's not loud, just giving you a bit of tropical groove feel. The 3rd one is on the other building of the hotel. I am not a big fan of semi-open or open ceiling bathroom because I am afraid of geckos, which is almost unavoidable in Indonesia. Our bathroom is the semi-opened ceiling type, it's HUGE with a bathtub! I was a bit worried during check-in but Wahyu assured me there will be NO geckos in the bathroom/bedroom. I was so surprised during our 5 nights stay, I didn't see any gecko in the whole resort at all!!!

I loved how quiet and relaxing this place was! Upon arrival, we got a cold drink and towel and we were even offered an upgrade as one of the other rooms was available. The hotel organised a taxi for us from bangsal port to the hotel (2 hour drive) which was super helpful! The daily breakfast was my favourite part, you get a main, tea or coffee, fresh juice and a fruit platter and it was all sooo yummy. The staff were so lovely as well and everything felt very clean, including the pool.
