Our family stayed here for three nights. We had an amazing time! Situated on a ridge above the village, Aranka Tempasan offers wonderful views of Mount Rinjani in the background. Reached via a macadam path, it feels like you've entered another world when you arrive. There are also various activities on offer with a local guide. We visited an authentic local village and took a trip into the nearby jungle to see the waterfalls. We also took a painting course. The owner, Berry, is very warm-hearted and has a great sense of how to run the business. Together with the very kind staff, he runs the business as a community. Needless to say, the food is delicious, too. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in nature and experience the local way of life.

I loved everything about my stay at Alam Bungalow! Fuji was a lovely host, welcoming be with open arms and always had time for chatting a bit. The bungalow is just new, very clean, has a beautiful big bathroom with rain shower, big comfy bed and a balcony with the best view over the rice fields and Mount Rinjani you can find in Tetebatu! I could sit there for hours. You can watch sunrise from there or walk through the rice fields. The family also offered a walking tour to visit the black monkeys, a waterfall and just stroll through the rice fields which was really nice. Their dog Tiko accompanied us, he’s an angel! I would have loved to extend my stay but the bungalow was booked after me, so I have to come back sometime. 😊

This was probably one of my favorite places to stay in Indonesia. The little hut is perfectly located in nature with views of the forest and ricefield. The bungalows is equipped with everything you need and very comfortable. The terrace was probably my favorite spot to have breakfast and read at night. It was SPECIAL place!

Lombok Hidden Village is a truly lovely place run by wonderful people. Great clean rooms, amazing pool and restaurant area. We had an amazing few days with lovely tours of the Monkey forest, rice fields, waterfalls and local villages. If you’re into cooking go for their cooking class, a great way to learn Indonesian food. Special thanks to Toni for being n excellent guide and Udi for being a great host.
