If you want true paradise waters in pure simplicity this place is perfect. Yes they very basic, but that’s exactly what we wanted to really feel true raja Ampat! There are only 3 huts so super quiet and they are very clean! No rats or nasties, and being over the water is amazing! The family are so lovely!!! They don’t speak English but are so kind and you feel that they respect your privacy also! The food was the best we had in raja ampat! We had meat or fish every day, with rice and 2 options of veg. The reef directly outside is beautiful with so much to see at your doorstep! It is a shared bathroom however it’s tucked away so you have privacy and we got used to it very quickly. Can’t recommend enough! We are so glad that we booked Korbekwan

We had a really special time at the Coco Huts homestay. The family put a lot of heart and effort into making our stay a great experience. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Delicious and varied food, clean bathroom facilities (water containers were constantly replenished), great ocean view from the bungalow. The host took us on a number of trips, including a trip to Wayag, which were really well-organized, and we felt super safe on the boat as well as snorkeling with a local guide (the reefs in the area are amazing). The transfer back to Waisai was well-organized as well. If you’re looking for a quiet get-away from the more crowded areas like Piaynemo, this is definitely a good choice.

Everything was wonderful. The place is absolutely stunning and the island felt almost completely private. The water, coral reef, and fish all around were amazing. The service was the best we experienced in Raja Ampat. The only thing we regret is not staying longer. The food was excellent, and the host and his family were incredibly helpful and kind. We felt truly well taken care of. Highly recommended from the bottom of our hearts! 🩷

We stayed 4 nights at Or Mandira Homestay, and it was probably our favorite stop on our entire Raja Ampat trip. Though there are four bungalows, we were the only guests staying so it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. You can't beat the location. It sits on a thin strip of Piaynemo Island so you have access to both coasts though the resort itself faces west. It's only a 15-20 minute (very affordable) boat trip away from all the best snorkeling spots (Rufas, Napolean, Fam Wall, Melissa's Garden) as well as the Piaynemo viewpoint. There were always 2 or 3 guys from the resort with us on all of our excursions and were never far from us in the boat. No network connection, but there is wifi when the electricity is on in the evenings (and sometimes in the afternoon). Basic, clean bungalows with a hammock. Simple home cooked meals for lunch and dinner, pastries for breakfast and snacks. Overall, our stay was excellent!

I stayed in Gam Bay for 8 days with my family. The place is probably the most beautiful in Raja Ampat. It offers stunning views to the limestone islets and small bays nearby, as well as easy access to the coral reefs around the bungalows. There are plenty other points of interest like manta rays point, Arborek village and reef, mandarin fish or Jetty Bum nearby, which can be reached by boat. The small island is visited by different species of birds. Their song is the only sound in this very quiet place. Aron and his family are great hosts. They are very friendly and took care to provide us with everything we needed. They cooked us very good traditional food. They brought us with the boat to the best places around and snorkeled with us, to show the best things hidden in the reefs, like sea turtles, manta rays or lionfish. Snorkeling around the reefs, amazing sunset and sunrise, great night sky, this is how paradise is supposed to be.
