The breakfast was first rate, made to order and as they like to say in Ireland "prefect". Rolf had some marmalades on the table and I commented about how good they were. He explained how they came from Annie's Bakery in town and how he procures as much as he can from local supplies and farmers. We stopped at Annie's on our way out of town and purchased three jars of marmalade as well as some yummy pastries. Annie was a lovely lady who was welcoming and a joy to chat with. This is what I loved most about out experiences, meeting people and contributing to their local economy. Upon check-in I had a very unusual request, an 'above and beyond' request and Rolf didn't skip a beat in making sure my request was taken care of. Our room was clean, quite with a lovely window facing the bay. While my wife and I were reading in our room we could here cow's and sheep in the background, really tranquil and nice. This place is special and Rolf makes it extra special. My wife and I wished we had time to spend more days and if ever given the chance we will no doubt come back.

The property and its direct view of the ocean and landscape was absolutely stunning. The wooden pods if you will were pristine, up to date and super clean. It was a wonderful stay!

This is really our type of holiday. The silent and peaceful, countryside, surrounded by nature and cute animals, a lovely garden, a cozy old cottage with everything you need. Big plus for us was the fireplace that is the main reason we booked the cottage. We love to light the fire and enjoy the atmosphere! It means a lot to us during our trips. Smart tv with big variety of channels, we enjoyed a movie with the fire on, and candles in the sitting room. So many lovley beaches and sightseeing around, without 30 mins drive there is already a lot to see. Tasty and big breakfast in the morning, cooked for us by the host Nettie, that took very good care of us during our stay. We would have loved to stay more, unfortunately we could stay only 1 night. We have been blessed with the weather as well. Hopefully we will go back! If you are looking for all the above, this is the place. The place was easy to reach. Thanks for everything! View was amazing - Room 203! So lovely to look out over beach long into the evening. Food at dinner was varied choice, delicious and good value. Brilliant breakfast. Lovely atmosphere in hotel and restaurant...something to do with lighting and cosy feel.

There was nothing not to like. The owners were super nice and helpful. She gave us a huge portion of delicious breakfast with gluten and lactose free options. The room was comfortable and very clean. The room was warm when we arrived (it was cold outside, so we were really happy about it), the whole house was very well insulated. The bed was big, and very comfortable. The room could be shaded very well and it was very quiet. Lovely accommodation not far from 2 lovely beaches. The design of the house was very appealing. Also we loved the wooden floor.
