The location is at the beginning of the pedestrian zone in the city centre, yet it was quiet in the room during the night (while the party went on in the streets). Even though this might be the smallest room we stayed in, it was so functionally designed, that it felt bigger than many rooms that are triple in size. Sincere compliments to the architects!

A very comfortable stay at The Huntsmann Inn! The location is excellent — only about a 7-minute walk to the city center, which made everything super accessible. We stayed in a two-room suite, which worked perfectly for us: my friend loves warm (she stayed in one room), and I prefer cool air (so I kept the window open in the other). The bathroom was clean and modern, and we appreciated the little touches like tea, coffee, and plenty of storage space. All in all, a great hotel — would definitely recommend!

Our stay here was excellent! The staff is AMAZING and super helpful. The room was large and very clean. The hotel breakfast is a great value for what you pay and the hotel's location couldn't be better. We only had an overnight stay but from the moment we arrived...

We only had an overnight stay but from the moment we arrived, we found the hospitality was enormous. We had our lunch n Donnelly's just beside the Twelve Hotel where we stayed. We definitely will have to return to sample more of this outside of the hotel itself.

Barna was a great spot to stay, right amount of restaurants...

Barna was a great spot to stay, right amount of restaurants close by although we did have a bad experience in the Donnelly’s but O’Grady on the pier seafood restaurant was amazing. The drive to salt hill was 10 minutes away and silverstrand beach was a beautiful.

It is a fairly small village about 10 km west of Galway.

It is a fairly small village about 10 km west of Galway. There was no parking problem. It was easy to access Galway city and Salthill. The way to the west, including Connemara and Clifden was very picturesque in places. Following the "Wild West Trail" was very worthwhile. Took about two hours slow travel time from Barna.

Very pretty small village near Atlantic coast.

Very pretty small village near Atlantic coast. Most places have seaview or mountains. Donnellys was great with lovely food and live Irish music. A few pubs and other restaurants also nearby. Seafood restaurant near seafront. Supermarket and cafes nearby to b&bs.

The host of the property went above and beyond in helping us settle in and enjoy the property and it's facilities during our stay! The rooms were perfect and the sea view across to the islands was beautiful. Being located a few minutes drive from Barna meant we were close to several restaurants, cafes and shops, which suited us perfectly.

We had the loft room which was very spacious with a great view. The bathroom is separate but just outside room on your own private landing so it was perfect. Had a comfortable night's sleep. Walked into Barna for dinner, short walk but footpath narrow on busy road so beware with smallies. Host was very friendly and very thoughtful.

We had a really fun night in Barna but I think it was the company more than the hotel that made it. The room was nice and spacious. I loved the Voya range in the bathroom.A little shortbread from the bakery was a nice touch in the room. Also the two girls on the reception desk were very welcoming.

The front desk staff are the stars of this otherwise quite overrated hotel. All the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. We were given good tips to help us plan our stay in /around Galway. The bed is comfortable, so are the pillows. The pub food is not bad either.
