Beautiful Chalet ,,very clean and tidy and warm. All facilities were there and even got complimentary bottle of prosecco and scones with jam. Comfortable double bed and very clean ,, great views and attentive host , everything as promised and more. Cooking facilities were first class and everything we needed was there. Friendly and warm hosts and I will definitely stay there again. Would highly recommend Ocean lodge..

Comfy bed and warm room. You can also adjust the heaters yourself if the room is too hot. Bar staff lovely especially Orla and Jordy. Very helpful. Wee cade across the road was lovely too so give it a try. But the best bit was meeting Hugh. Loveliest man ever. We missed our bus. He helped us make the next connection. Drove us to the ATM and then dropped us at the bus stop. Lovely man with a story or 2 to tell. He was great craic and we were very grateful for his help. Thank you Hugh and hopefully we will see you again. Kat and Aimee from Derry.

Exceptional host, very welcoming and plenty of common spaces in the house. Beautiful tranquil location in the Gaeltacht, with a lovely loch and pub walking distance. Good base for hiking Errigal, or visiting along the wild Atlantic way.

The location is excellent, walking distance to bunbeg. Very quiet and peaceful. The host was very friendly and the accommodation was spotless. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to explore the area.

Teach Hudí Beag is a fantastic pub, with excellent staff, the most wonderful traditional music sessions on Friday nights and (I think) Monday nights, and Irish the spoken language throughout. Caife Chití just opposite is the perfect place for breakfasts, salads, lunches. And the tours in nearly Croithlí distillery are both entertaining and informative --- the whiskey tastings are great too!!!!

Although only there for a short while Bunbeg has all the ingredients of the mystic west. The sunset was spectacular over the beach. Bád Eddie (Eddies boat) on Bunbeg's Magheraclogher beach, in Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) is a must see. The official story is that the boat was stranded on the beach but we heard from a good source that Eddie did it deliberately. He beached the boat in order to fit a new engine but he was going through a divorce and his wife asked for her share of the boat so he never repaired it.

The hosts were friendly and approachable. The accommodation was exceptional. I was travelling alone this time, my wife and I will be returning hopefully in the autumn. I highly recommend this property.

Great atmosphere in the bar. Bar food was excellent & portions were huge. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Location is stunning...great for touring West Donegal.
