Wonderful location with breathtaking views from the bar & restaurant. Staff were very friendly helpful & attentive without being intrusive. Thankyou for making us feel at home. Food was mouth-wateringly delicious. especially the fish dishes. Good wine selection. Spotlessly clean. Although our room didn't have a sea view the manicured gardens still retained their Irish wilderness. Will definitely be back

We stayed here for just one night after a day of trekking in Connemara. A lovely cosy little hotel in the centre of Clifden which offered everything we needed - friendly staff, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast and a central location thanks we could choose which pub in Clifden to have a beer and listen to live music on a Saturday night. Excellent breakfast included in the price in three options - Irish classic breakfast, Irish vegetarian breakfast and continental breakfast.

Desmond is a top-class host, a very kind man with a great sense of humour. He took the time to answer all of our questions and our needs. This was easily the best place we stayed at in Ireland. Great value for money, spacious, clean and comfortable bedrooms, and the best full Irish breakfast I'd ever had. We will be back!
