Great buzz in the town.
Great buzz in the town. We visited Clonakilty black pudding factory. We enjoyed the tour. Pauline looked after us very well . She is friendly & informative. We enjoyed the tea & breakfast food. We went back into the town to see the Twomey butcher shop. The square at the Michael Collins Statute is lovely there was market with interesting crafts.Guest review byPatricia - 8.0

Lovely town with shops and pubs lining the street - very walkable from the guesthouse . People are friendly which made my stay even nicer. Clonakilty was recommended to us by a friend as she had visited with family on a holiday. Loved this little seaside town, which had plenty to offer in the way of things to see and do. We could easily have spent a few days here happily, relaxing or looking for a bit to get out and do. I feel that as travellers on an international trip, it gave us a great opportunity to experience what I saw as the real Ireland - a true little town which held such history and a passion for its people. I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.Guest review byFrancesIreland
