Camden Court hotel is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. It is centrally located, but you can't hear any noise from the streets. I loved it that in the room they had not just the basic toiletries, but also a hair conditioner and a hand and body cream. Breakfast is excellent. They have a vast variety of options for every taste and dietary needs. Gluten free granola and freshly squeezed juice impressed me. Lastly the staff are really attentive and helpful - I was even given a charger since I left mine at home :)

Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College holds the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

Being one of the most youthful European cities, Dublin has a vibrant nightlife scene with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

    City centre crammed with tourists.

City centre crammed with tourists. Dirty and run down in places. Despite terrible incidents if youths attacking tourists, drugs issues etc absolutely no police presence. Visit to Pearse street police station due to incident was encountered by a 3 hour wait with no one available on the counter snd a queue of people equally unattended for 3 hours - most who gave up and left. Absolutely shameful!!

Dublin is vibrant, friendly and has lots to do. We went to see the Book of Kells and went to the Leprechaun museum; we saw friends and went to dinner. We were travelling with a vegetarian and a vegan and Dublin caters for both This is a city where modern, ancient and everything between lives symbiotically

Dublin is large enough to absorb its many tourists and has excellent sites to see. If you want to find our what a pub scene is like, it is there to be found. Most of what you want to see is walkable and one can find "free" (most generously tip) walking tours of Dublin from there which was good.

    Dublin is a wonderful city.

Dublin is a wonderful city. We enjoyed our tour guide of Trinity College and Library and the Book of Kells, it was awesome! Also the tour of the Jennie Johnson ship parked outside and the Irish Immigrant museum were excellent! We enjoyed a local pub Divette's and felt welcomed! Great music our last night! We had the best Irish beef stew! We had a wonderful day tour to Kilkenny. Wish we had more time in the central and rural parts of Ireland! Next visit!

    Dublin is over-touristed.

Dublin is over-touristed. It's a decent place, but it feels like it was a bit run down, and then newly reinvigorated. But there are not really strong tourist draws other than the pubs which are crazy crowded and gimmicky. I saw a dozen tourist swag shops too. Guiness tour was ok but expensive and a long walk. Good food at decent prices was hard to find, and we felt ripped off a bit by some restaurants. I wouldn't go back there.

Lovely hotel, booked it for a night out in Dublin with my friend. Very close to city centre only 30 minute walk or 15 minutes on the Luas that stops right outside the hotel door. Also very close to the likes of bar 1661 and Bonobo’s where we visited before hitting the centre. 10/10 friendly staff, lovely clean room and facilities, 24 hour accessibility. Great value for money, would stay here again
