It was such a great stay. The host was super helpful before arriving to find a great spot to walk my dog. The key was just left in the front door, so relaxed & trusting. I was warmly welcomed but also had absolute privacy throughout the whole 2 days. The place was super clean, and had everything you need to cook, relax, do your laundry, have a bath...all the comforts you could wish for. The location is also great, with locals walks max 10min drive, or even starting from the house. A cute cafe/restaurant just down the road with stunning views (if the Irish weather permits ;-) Would certainly recommend it and come again myself ;-)

What a gorgeous home set in stunning landscaped gardens. We had a great night in a spacious and beautifully appointed room. Delightful warm and welcoming hosts Carol and Jim were charming and helpful recommending a fabulous place for dinner in town. A delicious full Irish breakfast prepared by Carol. Our stay at Lis-Ardagh was one of the highlights of our trip in Ireland.

It is a very beautiful remote house, just outside of Skibbereen. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s generally a good place to stay. Pat and Kaithleen were very accommodating and helpful, quite pleasant people. Pat is very positive and talkative and want to learn a lot of stuff about his visitors and their country.

I loved the use of space. It was well thought out and everything we needed was available to us. It was very close to the centre of Rosscarberry. Weather conditions were quite bad outdoors but we were all cosy inside. I can imagine this location in the Summer months as it is only a short drive to many beaches, which we visited today in the wild windy weather

Glandore is a superb Irish village with two lovely eateries a two minute walk from Bay View B & B & as a bonus there is an excellent little Irish Bar called Casey's which is a must for a nightcap.

We loved the beautiful serene views and laid back vibe of...

We loved the beautiful serene views and laid back vibe of this lovely little town. We had two delicious meals in the Glandore Inn which I would thoroughly recommend. You can sit outside overlooking the bay on a summer day. It is a good base to explore places like Clonakilty (a lively town with lots going on) or the pretty, more serene, scenery of Lough Hyne, or Reen Pier. It is a perfect location for kayaking and sailing with a stunning bay, or for the more adventurous - a trip around Adam and Eve Islands!

Glandore is a beautiful location as is the neighbouring...

Glandore is a beautiful location as is the neighbouring villages of Rosscarbery, Union Hall and Leap. Lots of pubs ands places to eat, stunning vies of the sea and beaches nearby. It is central in West Cork and therefore close to all the attractions such as island ferries, and the towns of Bantry, Skibereen and Clonakilty and touring the headlands.
