Amazingly maintained grounds, with nice walks around the gardens. The room was extremely comfortable - beat nights sleep I had on my trip. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well.

I spent three incredible days at Corrib Lodge with my wife, and as a fishing enthusiast, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Lodge is located right on the lake, with private access, and the views are absolutely stunning , but what really makes the difference is the fishing. This place is run by an Italian owner who’s not only a great chef but also a passionate and knowledgeable guide. Every day we went out on the lake with him, fully equipped with top-notch gear, exploring hidden spots, landing great catches, and hearing fascinating stories about the lake’s history. We even stopped on remote islands and visited old castles along the way. They also organize deep-sea fishing trips for those who want to explore the ocean, a great option I’ll definitely try next time. The whole team is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed but well-run. If you love fishing and want something truly special, Corrib Lodge is the place. I’ll be back for sure.

We liked how cosy it was, they provided everything that we needed within the property including games for entertainment! The location is beautiful and the seating outside is in the perfect spot.

Bellnamona is a Beautiful House with a fantastic vieuw overlooking the countryside. The sheep’s behind the fence became our friends. The room was large and comfortable. Joan is a wonderful host, we enjoyed chatting with her and getting informations about the area. The breakfast was excellent with a large choice, fresh fruit, cereals, eggs etc. We did not leave the table hungry. We can recommend Bellnamona House and would stay there again without a second thought. Thank you Joan and family Irene and sister Brigitta

Barbara is a wonderful host. Great wit. Breakfast was perfect. Twin room was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The peace and quiet. We slept so well. Very close to town centre. Barbara organised a booking at a perfect little restaurant whilst we were out road tripping the area to Kylemore Abbey and Clifden. Highly recommend a stay at Woodlands. Thank you Barbara you made us feel so at home.
