Was a great stay. Josephine was an excellent host and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The breakfast was lovely and I had tea, coffee and biscuits whenever I wanted. The location was peaceful and remote but still very accessible. Would definitely recommend!

Michael and Adrian were amazing hosts . The standard of decor , attention to the smallest detail and hospitality were exceptional. The garden was beautiful and location was great. Plenty of places to eat.nearby. We would love to stay again. Thanks for hosting us.

The apartment is a little house. Spotlessly clean and everything you need for a self catering stay including toiletries and towels. The sitting room has a fabulous turf burning stove which made it extremely cosy. The pub is attached to the house so you only have to go next door for a drink. There's also a Pizza Truck right outside the bar and that was delicious. Would highly recommend this little haven. Kieran the owner was really nice to deal with. Will definitely be back soon.

Stayed for one night and was received exceptionally well by the staff! Room was very clean, modern and cosy, and I was even upgraded to a better room since it was available. There was live music at the bar that night, and what felt like the whole town gathered to have a great time. I felt very welcomed by everyone, making for an unforgettable experience and a definite highlight of my trip.

Great host. Enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable accommodation with nice breakfast. Located across the road from monastic ruins. Great location. Host was friendly and helpful. Would have loved to stay longer and explore the countryside in this area.

Gort is a quiet country town.

Gort is a quiet country town. I love the old hardware store which still has a bar at the back. Visit ‘The Field’ for a gorgeous meal. It’s very ‘old time’ Ireland - and I’m Irish :) It’s an affordable location to your around the Burren, Kinvara, Ballyvaughan, Poulnabrone Dolmen etc. Only 30 minute drive from Galway.

I live near Gort and shop there every week so it was hardly an expedition. I'd say Gort isn't the most fascinating town in Ireland but it could be an interesting stop if you are interested in Yeats, it's very near Coole Park and also only a short drive to the Thoor Ballylee,

The property was lovely and spacious and our room was very clean, as was the bed, which also happened to be very comfortable. Added to this, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Another plus is that the property is located slap bang in the centre of Gort. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone.

Michael was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. He gave us great travel advice to explore Burren. The accommodation is very nice, clean and comfortable. Quiet place. Gort is a nice small town, lively but not too much touristic. Great food at the Field and live music at Hennelys. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Josophene made me very welcome in her lovely b&b ! Beautiful countryside view, and looking into the old monastry.. Her hospitality and breakfast were great ! Spotlessly clean place, parking, just a short drive into Gort.. Well be back at some point.. ☆☆☆☆

We have liked the oldschool style of the Hotel very much. Unfortunately stayed there only one night. But we enjoyed every minute, either at the pool and sauna or on the comfortable beds. Travelled with kids, they even loved it more!
