Tha cabin was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lots of added extras were supplied, including tea coffee and treats. The hot tub was a great addition and so easy to use. The shore walk to Moville was beautiful at sunset!!

The house was in an ideal location, walking distance to everything,shops,pubs, restaurants including beach. Loved the additional touches,wine, chocolate, biscuits,milk, tea, coffee, sugar . Lots of towels, toilet roll and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in dispensers. Books to read and TV.

Room was Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was right in the centre of Moville and really close to the red castle hotel. Check in was very easy and the staff were really friendly. We had breakfast downstairs in the coffee shop which was all included in the price the breakfast was really nice. We will definitely return at some stage over the summer and bring our children. It was really good that the bed and breakfast upstairs had a separate entrance and we were able to come back from the wedding at a later time and not have to disturb anyone.

As soon as you come off the ferry the apartment is just...

As soon as you come off the ferry the apartment is just seconds round the corner and you can walk right into the habour with noone asking any questions. There's also a museum which we spent quite a time in it. The bar was great they did great Guinness so my husband said.

Greencastle itself has very limited dinning options.

Greencastle itself has very limited dinning options. However, a short drive to Moville will satisfy most tastes. A must visit is the little pub called The Ferryboat. Great Guinness and very friendly staff and locals welcoming. Greencastle is a great place to base yourselves with great beaches and tourist options and recommend taking the ferry across to NI just for the Craic.

We all loved this place. Great location for beaches. Greencastle is on the bus route so accessible if you don't have a car. If you do there are so many places you can visit to walk and swim. Right next door is a really good city standard Indian restaurant. Also a couple of pubs which had music one evening, though I didn't go myself, fam came back jolly reporting good Guiness and company. The cottage is comfy and practical with a lovely welcoming fireplace and lots of room. We didn't mind the absence of WiFi, we were on holiday so didn't want to stream anyway. Phone reception was fine and we took dvds, read loads and were out a lot. Excellent value for money and Joe is a diamond.

There isn't much to Greencastle itself.

There isn't much to Greencastle itself. It has an attractive castle ruin but in October there weren't many facilities running plus the ferry across the lough stops running at end of September. However Morville is only a few miles away.

The museum and its staff were excellent and well worth a visit. Otherwise a very quiet location. You must have your own transport to get around the area. The pub and, the fish resturant on the harbour are good. It's worthwhile taking the ferry over the Foyle for a look around.

Nice little ferry port with good tourist amenities. All facilities within a compact walkable area, good for me as I have some mobility issues. Nice array of pubs and restaurants and take way food. Local Golf Course. The surrounding area abounds with spotless golden beaches. The car ferry runs about every 15 minutes to Magilligan on the Co Antrim Coast ( a tenner for car and driver),and the Historic city of Londonderry is around 30 minutes by car. Belfast is an easy drive from either place via the motorway networks.
