Wonderful location at the cross roads of so many must visit places. The town itself is vibrant and charming and very well serviced with pubs and restaurants. The town was larger with more facilities than we expected...
The town was larger with more facilities than we expected and we would be happy to return. The location gave us easy access to the Ring of Kerry road trip and we saw all the sights worth seeing. The french patisserie in the town was great but has slow service as it is very popular. Watch out for the narrow roads where lots of tourist buses, and locals actually, don't always keep to their side of the road and it can be dangerous.Guest review byPETERUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Town is pedestrian friendly and all restaurants and businesses lie in a small triangle of roads. Free parking was readily available at edge of village. Has its own circle if stones in the heart of town - easy walk. Great pubs like P L McCarthy and Davitts Restaurant - both offered gluten free offerings. Davitts is right in middle of town so it’s very convenient being so close to everything. We had been concerned that it would be too noisy but once the music finishes in the other pubs it is quiet at night. The highlight was fantastic breakfasts which were the best of anywhere we’ve been with a great selection of cold and hot food cooked beautifully, with good service.
