Loughrea was attractive.

Loughrea was attractive. I walked around but i was primarily there to meet with distant family for a visit enroute to Dublin from Connemara. I was just looking for somewhere for a good nights sleep and comfortable.

Loughrea is a beautiful small town with an amazing lake and hills surrounding it. You can really feel the Irish vibes there. There are many pubs serving lovely food, and Hope's Bakery is worth visiting for their homemade bread and cakes.

This was my first time in Loughrea and I loved it.

This was my first time in Loughrea and I loved it. I had dinner in Maggie Mays which was gorgeous. The next morning I had breakfast in Chefs Cafe and loved it too. I went for a refreshing swim in the lake. It was bliss.

Comfortable bed, use of microwave and self catering, would have liked a toaster. Liked large shower cubical. Didn't like that we had no hot water throughout the day or evening in the sinks. Liked the view of the lake. Didn't like lifting microwave out of a bottom cupboard onto worksurface would be better mounted on a shelf. Didn't like broken cutlery. Didn't like Netflix constantly shutting down due to the tuner being overloaded couldn't watch a film through without it shutting down every 5 minutes.

Loughrea is nice small town with beautiful lake which is perfect for swimmers even in the winter time. Lots of scenic spots for photo shoot. Walking distance to the main points and good coffee in Java's 17.

Loved the history of the town. We walked all over.

Loved the history of the town. We walked all over. So impressed how they have preserved the history and not just knock buildings over to accommodate new construction. The people are the best, the friendliness and helpfulness was great!

Great place for our one night stay as we travelled down the west coast. Ursula (host) sent excellent instructions for the location of her property. You are right beside Lake Loughrea and there is a lovely cottage garden where you could sit and admire the view. There was information provided about Loughrea and things to see in this town. The accommodation had everything needed and was clean and d comfortable for us.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. room was very spacious and clean, and lots of choice for dinner and the restaurant was big but plenty of atmosphere, restaurant staff were very attentive and pleasant. We used the spa, which was small no pool at this hotel but the treatments were good and the staff were excellent.

Lovely hotel service excellent I would prefer a shower separate to the bath. Maybe I should have asked.
