The hotel had excellent size rooms, was very clean,had old world charm and the staff were friendly, approachable and nothing was a bother to them - very quick to find solutions to any problems!! I’d also like to mention that the staff in Berty’s Bar were also excellent and it was a pleasure to go there for dinner and/or drinks!!

Boomerang,I keep coming back to river cottage as it is exactly what I want. Location,peace and tranquillity,warm and tidy off road parking. Host lady is helpful and accommodating. Now i know why this place won awards centre of excellence in every aspect

We went to Mullingar to visit the home of Niall Horan.

We went to Mullingar to visit the home of Niall Horan. It is a super cute little town with a little stream running through it. We visited Clarks Bar and what amazingly friendly people! They let us visit Niall and Lewis Capaldi's shrine for as long as we wanted, didn't rush us at all. Greville Arms Hotel is has a little Niall shrine that we visited. Cute shopping, and a couple lovely coffee shops on Patrick St!

I am quite familiar with Mullingar.

I am quite familiar with Mullingar. It is a very musical town with many musical events always going on. I actually went for a concert which I really enjoyed. I did some shopping while there which I also enjoyed. Mullingar is very easy to get around with plenty of parking adjacent to the various shops. On the whole the various shop assisstants were universally warm & friendly - a pleasure to shop there!

Lovely town, spotless clean, has all amenities you need and some good shops, beautiful park just off the Main Street, bars, restaurants I defo be heading back to Mullingar for more weekends the people where also very friendly xx

If the weather is good go to Belvedere House for a walk and...

If the weather is good go to Belvedere House for a walk and coffee. It's so lovely and peaceful at the lake. In the town there's plenty to check out. We had a brunch in Bellys which was lovely and then headed to Montogmerys whiskey bar - just a cosy little spot. There's a sweet shop just near it and there was all sorts of treats on offer!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mullingar Park Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed for comfort. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding— the leisure center and spa were a highlight, offering a truly relaxing experience. We also enjoyed a fantastic meal at the restaurant; the food was delicious and of top quality. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend Mullingar Park Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and enjoyable stay. Can’t wait to return!

Fabulous house just a short stroll from Mullingar Park Hotel where we were attending a wedding. Very quiet and safe area. Also only a few minutes walk into Mullingar town. Dermot was available for any queries we had. Bed super comfortable and house immaculate throughout. Ideal for a short stay in Mullingar. We will definitely be returning.

Room was nice and clean and so was the en suite. Breakfast the next morning was very good and cooked fresh for us. Better than most hotels. The location was perfect, right in the town center and had enough parking for residents.Was very happy with my stay there.

Nice location in the centre of town . Good car park at the rear of the hotel. Good service in the bar and restaurant and a very good band were playing later in the lounge on the night we stayed.
