The hotel had excellent size rooms, was very clean,had old world charm and the staff were friendly, approachable and nothing was a bother to them - very quick to find solutions to any problems!! I’d also like to mention that the staff in Berty’s Bar were also excellent and it was a pleasure to go there for dinner and/or drinks!!

Clare and Frank are the perfect hosts; we’ve felt at home in their beautiful new guesthouse. It's a truly comfortable, functional and spacious place, designed and furnished with care and taste. It’s been a great pleasure to stay there for a while, enjoying their large garden and all the amenities. The two bathrooms, the well-equipped kitchen, the utility room make the place even more appealing. The location is ideal, just a 5-minute drive from Mullingar, with nice surroundings and close to a lovely greenway. We’ve fallen in love with this place.

We went to Mullingar to visit the home of Niall Horan.

We went to Mullingar to visit the home of Niall Horan. It is a super cute little town with a little stream running through it. We visited Clarks Bar and what amazingly friendly people! They let us visit Niall and Lewis Capaldi's shrine for as long as we wanted, didn't rush us at all. Greville Arms Hotel is has a little Niall shrine that we visited. Cute shopping, and a couple lovely coffee shops on Patrick St!

I am quite familiar with Mullingar.

I am quite familiar with Mullingar. It is a very musical town with many musical events always going on. I actually went for a concert which I really enjoyed. I did some shopping while there which I also enjoyed. Mullingar is very easy to get around with plenty of parking adjacent to the various shops. On the whole the various shop assisstants were universally warm & friendly - a pleasure to shop there!

Lovely town, spotless clean, has all amenities you need and some good shops, beautiful park just off the Main Street, bars, restaurants I defo be heading back to Mullingar for more weekends the people where also very friendly xx

If the weather is good go to Belvedere House for a walk and...

If the weather is good go to Belvedere House for a walk and coffee. It's so lovely and peaceful at the lake. In the town there's plenty to check out. We had a brunch in Bellys which was lovely and then headed to Montogmerys whiskey bar - just a cosy little spot. There's a sweet shop just near it and there was all sorts of treats on offer!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mullingar Park Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed for comfort. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding— the leisure center and spa were a highlight, offering a truly relaxing experience. We also enjoyed a fantastic meal at the restaurant; the food was delicious and of top quality. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. I would highly recommend Mullingar Park Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and enjoyable stay. Can’t wait to return!

The hotel has clearly had a lovely renovation in parts, but the bedrooms could really use an upgrade — they felt a bit dated and lacked atmosphere. On the positive side, the bar food was excellent, the staff were great, and the pool was a lovely bonus that we made good use of. Breakfast was also very good. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, but the bedrooms did let it down a little.

What a fantastic place to stay. The staff were lovely and so accommodating. The location of the hotel was perfect with amble parking. You are a short walk into the bustling town. The breakfast was also brilliant and so tasty! Staff at breakfast were brilliant and you could tell they were very well organised and trained.

Swimming pool was fantastic. Great baby pool. And then the main pool is all the same level (able to stand at all times if needed) so very good for people who are not fantastic swimmers. Reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Hotel was very clean.
