The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and the guesthouse is well located to other facilities such as shops, bars and restaurants.

it was very clean and comfortable. the restaurant was fabulous especially the service from Michael, a lovely young man.

The Shearwater Hotel is just 20 minutes' drive from Athlone and a 50-minute car journey from Galway. It is close to the marina and the River Suck.

Breakfast was help yourself. Many varieties of food hot and cold. Great varieties of breads. Breakfast was Excellent Gracious Staff served Tea and Coffee. The staff were all so helpful, and kind, Great attention to detail. One was made to feel very welcome. Dinner menu was also extensive enough for me. Hotel is spotless.
