None of us had been here before.
None of us had been here before. We did the river tour to Clonmacnoise with Hidden Heartland tours, and despite the awful weather when we were there, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We have family in Roscommon so we’ve been there a few time, it’s a lovely little town with such friendly people. Everything you would need is all within walking distance it’s a great place to go for a short break, we stayed at the Abbey hotel so there was no need to use the car to go into town. Roscommon has more to show then what meets the eye, I particularly enjoyed my brief visit to the castle. On my return I intend to make use of the professional staff. Staff were all lovely and helpful, especially the lovely lady on the reception desk on check-in. The room was a generous size, and had everything we needed. There was also a gorgeous set up of champagne and chocolates in our room for our anniversary; a lovely touch and much appreciated. Beautiful pieces of decor and pictures along the hallways.
