Ideal location for visiting Lough Hyne. The pub across the road has excellent food. Great parking facilities. The room was spacious and clean. Just like the bathroom. Too bad we were only staying one night :)

People from all over take the 5 minute ferryboat ride to the island for their delicious homemade pizza . Hiking ,views ,birds and flowers . Everything to love .

We spent little time during the day in Skibbereen itself.

We spent little time during the day in Skibbereen itself. We selected it as a central point to stay as we explored Mizen Head and other areas in the region. In the evening we went to The Corner Bar to listen to trad music. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful time.

We actually spent the brief time we had in BALTIMORE and 1 day definitely isnt enough. The Pirate museum and view point, hanging about in the bay would have been made so much better had we been out on a boat seeing the dolphins and minky whales we heard about

Really nice town with a lot of history attached to it. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly. The heritage museum and the lady who does the talk on the impact of the Great Famine were very powerful.

Highly recommend Wild Ways for breakfast and pizza, the...

Highly recommend Wild Ways for breakfast and pizza, the Church Restaurant for dinner in a beautiful surrounding, and O'Neill Coffee for a beautiful flat white. Great Murphy's in the Corner Bar too! Skibbereen can easily be enjoyed on foot, it's a fairly small town.

The town was very nice with a great car park over by ALDI.

The town was very nice with a great car park over by ALDI. Lovely just to walk around and browse the shop windows and potter about. For groceries also check out the Fields SuperValu store, a fantastic selection of foods and really nice staff. While there you must also visit to Lough Hyne, a most wonderful surprise. We had no idea of its beauty.

The owners were very nice and they let us do late check in although it was stated as 8 pm in the rules. The place is in the center of Skibbereen with access to pubs, restaurants and in a good place to explore West Cork area. They are serving breakfast in the mornings which you can choose out of some options. Check in and check out were easy.

My cousin and I loved our stay with Anne. The B&B is 5 mins walk from town and Anne cooks up a really really good breakfast. There is a lot to do in and around Skibbereen, would highly recommend a few nights in this beautiful place. The famine museum was one of the best museums we have ever been too. Thank you so much Anne :)

Lovely comfortable & spacious accommodation located only a 10 minute drive from Skibbereen. Gorgeous country garden & wooded area and quiet country roads suitable for walking. Plenty of books & board games on the shelves for those rare wet evenings in West Cork!
