Situated in the heart of Dublin, it strikes the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. The serene canal views were a refreshing contrast to the vibrant city life just a stone's throw away. It was easy to explore the city, with many of Dublin's iconic attractions within walking distance. Breakfast: The breakfast experience at Hotel Mespil was a true highlight. Fabulous hotel with amazing gardens - so easy to access Dublin City center / dundrum town center and lots of other areas example powerscourt / killiney /dalkey . I always stay in this hotel When I visit . Lovely staff -‘definitely 10/10 - delicious breakfast.

We were staying there mainly to visit family in Blackrock, so that’s not hugely applicable question. But Kay’s kitchen in the Frescati centre was a casual but very friendly cafe. Unlike Brambles in the Stillorgan shopping centre which was a disaster, to be honest. But our stay at the Radisson hotel was a hit! We’ll be back there.

A well appointed hotel, with good-sized bedrooms in a good...

A well appointed hotel, with good-sized bedrooms in a good location to the south of the city centre. Has the benefit of a large 'free' carpark, which is good if touring. Access to the city centre can be taken via the DART rail which is a short drive away.

There is a Good CarPark, but if you don't have a Car, you...

There is a Good CarPark, but if you don't have a Car, you can hire a GoCar, or get one of the Many Public Buses. Dublin bus has the 24hr E1 service from Bray to Ballymun, through the City Centre, using the Stillorgan Road or the E2 from Dun Laoire to Finglas. Aircoach stops right outside. S6 to Blackrock and Tallaght Square.

Stillorgan is predominantly a suburban, residential area so...

Stillorgan is predominantly a suburban, residential area so not really for tourists. However it is easily accessible to the city center by bus and also you can take a 15 minute or so walk to the Luas (light rail system) which also brings you to the city center or even Dundrum shopping center which has cinemas, restaurants and mini golf for those rainy days with the kids.

Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history.

Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history. Easy to reach from the N11 coming from the Motorway. Area is lovely and peaceful, had to stay there because of the nearby Embassy which is reachable by walking.

The building is beautiful, the room we had was spacious enough with a decent size bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The gardens around the building are lovely. Every single member of staff we walked past, interacted with was very nice and we felt very welcome in the hotel. We loved the breakfast and the food we ordered from room service was very nice too.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The setting of the hotel was very beautiful and a very short walk to a bus stop but no traffic noise. The lounge was very comfortable and spacious yet still felt cosy. We had the best breakfast I've had in a longtime. The beds were very comfortable and the windows were openable to get fresh air.
