The place is exceptionally clean. The staff couldn't do enough to help and make our stay enjoyable. It's close to the airport so exceptionally convenient. The price too, was very reasonable. We liked the resilience of the people surrounded by incredible poverty with little or no facilities having to endure life in a very highly polluted area of the world. We will never recommend any of our family members or friends to visit.

Good and Bad.

Good and Bad. Wealth and poverty clearly evident but we only had one night at the hotel on our way home. Initially stayed further south when we arrived and were booked there for our last night by the travel agent which made no sense so booked this hotel via Booking.com and a great move on our part only 15mins from the airport.

Colaba, which was the part of Mumbai that I saw and lived in, was good. People are nice and simple in a good way. But of course each country has its nature so foreigners should be prepared to experience things that could be considered unpleasant in other countries, such as car drivers using horns all the times, traffic is so congested, cars are so old, crossing streets is dangerous, most people do not speak good international languages, although many can speak Arabic and English. Police are not friendly in general. Rats, cockroaches, and insects are plenty everywhere. As a large country, Mumbai is heavily populated so you cannot walk without seeing huge numbers of people everywhere. even tourist areas are full of local Indians who come from other cities and places to visit Mumbai and its attraction areas, such as Taj Hotel and Gate of India. One ugly thing is the clear division between poor people and rich people...it is very disturbing as you see it being exhibited rudely. One thing that Mumbai shares with many other places in Europe, the Americas, Australia, etc is giving you a tourist price for anything you want to buy, which is always always more than 300% to 400% the actual price that locals pay for the same item! Finally, do not expect clean streets and buildings.

I grew up in Mumbai. Lots of fond memories. Great city with great work culture, nice shopping, restaurants, reasonable weather. Infrastructure is a dampener but the Mumbai spirit is helpful, indomitable and never gives up. My favourite place in Mumbai is Bandra. It has glamour, the sea, lovely quaint Christian bungalows that builders have always been trying to acquire, lovely eating and drinking places, great bookshops, a super cool attitude and a generally friendly and helpful public.

The people are wonderful - if you want to feel like royalty, go to Mumbai! It's easy to get taxis at reasonable prices and everything is great value when compared to how much we pay for things in England.

Luxury brand hotel close to the airport. Extremely polite and helpful staff. Room we for had a great view and great location, in one of Mumbai's best suburbs. The morning breakfast spread is pretty good too. We were also provided early check-in so the stay started on a really great note.
