I recently stayed at Hotel Copper Folia, a property I discovered on Booking.com and chose purely on gut feeling and overall reviews. The moment I stepped in, the hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. Though it is a small property with just 27 rooms, it offers all the facilities and amenities of a much larger hotel — a major positive surprise. Rooms are spread across three floors, all impeccably maintained. The housekeeping team is proactive, ensuring dustbins are cleared and corridors remain spotless throughout the day. The rooms themselves are tastefully designed, giving a warm, positive vibe the moment you enter. Even with just a one-day stay, I felt it offered complete value for money. The tariff is very reasonable, clearly benchmarked well for its location in Calicut. Breakfast was sumptuous and satisfying. Overall, this has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in recent times. I look forward to returning with my family. The only minor drawback is that it’s slightly away from the city, but this is easily compensated by the clean, pollution-free environment it offers.

I stayed at this hotel for two days and had a pleasant experience. The property is brand new and still awaiting its grand opening, which makes it a great value for the price. The interiors are modern and luxurious, and I had the chance to try their breakfast—it was fresh and satisfying. Looking forward to seeing the full potential of this place once it’s officially open.

This hotel has spacious and well-kept rooms to offer. The bathroom impresses with its elegant natural stones and new fittings. Everything is clean and nice. We had a room on the 9th floor with twin beds and slept very well. We were also satisfied with the restaurant where also alcoholic beverages are available. The selection of beer, however, was limited to just one type of beer, namely Kingfisher Storm. Being a guest of the Hotel we got a remarkable discount of 20% on it.

They property is excellent! Its well maintained, extremely clean, comfortable beddings and the stay was overall very pleasant! The front desk as well as the service staff are very accomodating and went out of their way to ensure my parents had a comfortable stay. Only thing is that its a two floor building that does not have a lift so if you are travelling with someone who can't climb stairs its better to call in advance and check with the staff. They were kind enough to give us a room other than the one I booked because my parents couldn't climb stairs. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent. Its also only a few minutes drive to Kozhikode railway station. I wouldn't think twice about booking here again! Hope they keep up this level of service and maintenance in future :)
