I don’t usually write long reviews, but this place truly deserves one. First Impressions & Ambience As soon as I entered Moon Hotel Tungnath, I was genuinely taken aback by how thoughtfully everything was designed. It’s not just a hotel it has a character of its own. There’s a kind of artistic charm in the way the place is put together, and with the Himalayas in the backdrop, the vibe is just incredible. I had initially planned to stay just one night, but I ended up extending it by three more days that should tell you how much I liked it. Hospitality & Staff The staff here is super polite, kind, and always ready to help. From the moment I checked in, I felt well taken care of. They’re attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they genuinely care about your comfort. Whether it was food preferences or local guidance they were more than happy to help. Food & Dining Honestly, the food blew me away. I tried both lunch and dinner during my stay, and every meal felt like it was cooked with love. You can ask them to prepare food according to your taste, and they happily do it. From North Indian thalis to hot parathas with chai after a tiring trek, everything was fresh and comforting like homemade food. I even clicked a few pictures because it looked as good as it tasted. Night Vibes & Connectivity Nights here are something else. The view of the sunset over the hills, the chilly air, and the quiet atmosphere just make everything feel peaceful. It’s perfect whether you want to sit on the balcony and watch the stars or just relax inside. What’s even better high-speed internet is available here. Both Jio and Airtel 5G networks work well, which is a huge plus in a remote place like this. If you're someone from IT or remote work background (like me), you’ll find it ideal for working peacefully in the lap of nature. Rooms & Facilities The rooms are simple, cozy, and super clean.

I had the most wonderful stay at Cafe Buransh, being a solo traveller it was the most amazing experience I could have ever got! Cafe Buransh is nestled amidst breathtaking mountains, the location offers stunning views of Chopta Valley and Sari Village that you can enjoy right from the comfort of your room or the cozy balcony. The peaceful atmosphere makes it a perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape the chaos of the city. I travelled from London specially to stay in this place, because have read about Cafe Buransh on its site about the idea of creating this place at Sari village and the Owner has considered many ways of sustainable environment friendly aspects to build this homestay. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel like part of their family. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The home-cooked meals were a highlight of the trip – delicious, fresh, and made with love. I also appreciated the little touches, like the outdoor seating area to enjoy morning tea while watching the sunrise, and the helpful tips from the hosts about nearby trails and attractions. This place is a gem for anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. My stay was peaceful retreat away from the noise. I was impressed with the room maintenance as its mentioned on the site, it keeps you warm with cosy feel inside the room , great in terms of the cleanliness and welcoming staff. I had visited this place in 2018 while i was on Chandrashila trek, since then waited for this day to come again and stay at this place.
