A lovely homestay in a good location. Nice clean and comfortable room with efficient. As advertised, no food but the use of kitchen with fridge and delicious tea was a bonus. Very welcoming and helpful owner who gave lots of information regarding Chidambaram and excellent local knowledge regarding restaurants, temple, transport. Convenient location; good value

The temple is the big draw.

The temple is the big draw. For the devout, even a day spent in the temple will not suffice. The energy is incredible. For the tourist there is the brilliant temple architecture and stories behind the temple

chidambaram is a must for everyone interested in indian culture and spirituality , its main tempel is wonderful , the friday evening puja ovewhelming , a once in a lifetime experience . having visited india 8 times since 1971 i have really seen a lot and love this country , chidambaram is among the few very best there is .
