Everyone is treated like family at Namasthe Ayurveda. Joseph the MD is so warmhearted and kind, he and his team do everything to ensure everyone is content. I was warmly welcomed at Kochi airport by Joseph and from there, the whole experience felt incredibly nurturing. Daily visits from the kind, skilled and insightful Ayurvedic Dr Indu after the initial thorough consultation, two treatments a day with lovely Vasha, who always had a smile and provided some wonderfully relaxing treatments. I enjoyed the food and communal mealtimes and have made some good friends in the week I spent there. We had an evening of entertainment and special food for a festival celebration (the food was DELICIOUS... especially the cauliflower curry!) All the performers were great, the songs, the dance; everyone put a lot of effort in to make it special and we all appreciated this. We also had a birthday celebration, which was fun. It was nice to be near the lake and experience village life, taking an early walk to the Kali Temple as dawn broke. On leaving, all my Ayurvedic medicine to take away was clearly explained and I felt well taken care of. For me, this very 'held' experience is lacking in other areas of care. You don't feel seen or heard. At Namasthe Ayurveda, you feel seen. Dr Indu maintains eye contact, you know she is listening intently and taking your issues seriously and she works hard to ensure that you make progress, along with considered follow-up. As a therapist, I value this. It should be a given that everyone experiences this when they need care, but unfortunately it is sorely lacking. She has a reassuring smile and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her patients. Joseph the MD, the man with two phones, organises and facilitates everything yet is always calm and accommodating. A few of us had a dentist visit, shopping trip, tailor visit.

We lived everything about this hotel. The courtesy taxi was immediate, the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel itself is immaculately clean. Very well designed and maintained. Beds the ultimate in comfort. Breakfast was perfect, unusually catering for multi cuisine tastes. We thoroughly recommend this hotel it is a definite 5* +palace.
