We stayed at Flora Misty Falls for 4 nights in Oct-Nov. Everything about the stay here exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious; the balcony was also quite big and most importantly the view of the falls from the room was superb. The experience of waking up to the falls was simply incredible. The food was also very good. Some items in the breakfast buffet, such as puttu, channa dal curry, poori, masala dosa, appam, chicken sausage - really tasted very nice. At dinner, the grilled prawns as the starter was our favorite and we ate it regularly here! They had a buffet spread for 2 days - some dishes in the buffet were really really good (Kashmir Pulao, Fried Rice, Pudding, Payasam, Duck curry, Chilly fish) The staff was really helpful with suggesting on places to visit and more importantly on the times to visit them too. The location of Flora Misty Falls is their biggest advantage. They are right next to the ticket counter of Athripally falls. A walk from here to Charpa Falls is also very good. Overall, it was a fantastic experience here and we will perhaps come back here one day!

Vajra is located middle of thick forest , a serene green , calm and quiet place , I choose it for Ayurveda and yoga , excellent experience with all activities , 25 mnt drive from cochin International airport , roads are forestry roads, when you drive please go slowly because some time baby Elephant are crossing roads, some time deer, and peacocks crossing, near by a bird watching location name is mahagani thottam, there is a some local sight seeing and Elephant bath programs , IT IS A ORPHANAGE FOR WILD ELEPHANTS .....WE CAN ENJOY ELEPHANTS BATH AND ELEPHANT FEEDING..... Over alll excellent , wifi zone is a good idea in middle of forest , guests can sit wifi zone ....... organic food also yummy .... thanks team vajra....

Very well-maintained resort with beautiful lighting in the evening. Good home cooking at all meals, rooms are clean and our bed was incredibly comfortable. The river was very close and could be reached within 3 minutes to take a cool bath in the pools. Especially in the afternoon this place unfolds its magic. The special thing about this resort is definitely the warmth and generosity of the manager Mr. Shegkar. With his warm-hearted care, he creates a family atmosphere in which you feel welcome at all times.

In my experience, this hotel is just overrated.

In my experience, this hotel is just overrated. If you are not booking the exact "River View Balcony" room, it’s not worth the value for money. The check-in procedures were slow, taking around 25 minutes. Additionally, the photos on their Booking.com listing are not representative of the actual rooms, which was disappointing. The stay overall was just okay. I would rate it as a 3-star facility and quality hotel. While the rooms look new due to recent construction, they were not very clean and had a strong smell of room cleaner chemicals, which was unpleasant. Another issue is with their menus and pricing. They do not display GST or net amounts, especially on the restaurant menu. This feels like a hidden trick, almost a scam, and left a bad impression. The only positive aspect was the staff—they were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience slightly better. Overall, an average experience that doesn’t justify the hype or the price unless you specifically opt for their premium rooms.
