This place is a hidden gem. We loved everything — the quiet and picturesque location, the delicious meals, the wonderful hospitality. We had so much help from John and the staff organising a private yoga session and transfers to our next destination. It was exactly what we needed after a busy few weeks of travel. We had it all to ourselves too!

It was a tranquil stay here. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The property is serene, nestled among palms. There's currently a restaurant called Sea Shell about 15 minutes walk. Breakfasts were lovely. If possible, he will arrange for guests to see Theyyam rituals, which should not be missed. Beach is very close. There's also a boat that picks up early in the AM very near the guesthouse which can take you to a kayak tour at Kavvayi. I fell a bit under the weather the night before I intended to leave and was able to extend an extra with no issues. 10/10, thank you for everything Lakeview Homestay.

The location was beautiful and quiet, the room was very comfortable, the most comfortable bed I've slept in since I left home ! The room and bathroom were spotless, with tea and coffee available. The staff are lovely! The manager couldn't have been more helpful, the food was very tasty and the chef and the cleaning staff were great too ! The owner brought us tasty home made snacks , all in all everyone made us feel welcome and at home. I enjoyed the beautiful garden with nice plants and swimming in the nicely arranged swimming pool. The area around is superb for paddlesports and the backwaters, mangroves and beach are worth exploring.
