Location is a bit far from main road but still on tar road. The place is great. Room is equipped with sink and hand soap, so easy to watch face. I don't order breakfast but the staff allow me to use any utensil and things in kitchen

The owners have thought of everything for their guests comfort. The cottage looks deceptively small outside but is amazing inside. The panoramic windows in the living room have incredible views down the valley. Although it is in a fairly remote location(the nearest town is 20 minutes away), it is just off the main ring road around Iceland. Don’t be worried about road noise. The road is not that busy and you can’t hear a thing inside the house. The kitchen is fully equipped - there’s even a dishwasher. There are other accommodations on the property but nobody bothered us.

Pretty bungalow, well decorated and comfortable, it's small but there's everything you need. It's located in a very quiet place just outside Blonduos. It's a pleasure to stay here and we wish our stay was longer.

I booked what seemed to be the biggest room - a FULL apartment on the bottom floor! (Nr. 1) =D This apartment was bigger than my own one apartment back home. I had a TV (with limited channels/viewing options), a MASSIVE double bed, a beautiful mid-sized bathroom, a kitchen on one side of the HUGE living room! There was a good-sized fridge, and all the plates, forks, glasses, cups, etc. you might need in a kitchen. There was also a full-sized wardrobe to keep your clothes up on hangers or on shelves.

Áfangi is located in Blönduós. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property.

One of the best mountain cabins I´ve ever been – mind that it’s a Icelandic cabin (almost hostel) and not a hotel, so you must adjust your expectations accordingly. It has a spacious dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 showers, 3 toilets and all was super clean thanks to the great staff (I hope Karolina repeats next year). It can of course get busy when it’s full, but much better than the ones I stayed around. A nice plus that you can rent bedding if you don’t have a sleeping bag.
