Perfect location if you're visiting Diamond beach and want a place to stay nearby. Superbly clean with very nice toilets and a fully equip kitchen. Check was easy. Road access was easy even in heavy snow.

First time staying in hostel, wasnt sure how all works regarding shared things,information was provided yes and all read. Very happy that you still had your personal little house and toilet. Location was perfect ,stayed one night and very affordable,if needed would definetely come back.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Perfect locality (Between Diamond Beach and Vestrahorn) next to main road. Nice restaurant part of Hotel.

WE SAW THE AURORA. Breakfast included! The cabin was awesome! We had the big/family cabin. Has queen bed and bunkbedx2. Has stove fridge kitchen stuff except microwave huhu. Has balcony where in you can wait and watch for the northern lights. 20 mins drive to Jokulsarlon glacier.

Very nice place, clean rooms and wonderful spacious shared bathrooms. The host was very nice and cooperative and helped us cook pasta for the kids.

Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). Really good stay to spent one night during our road trip. We were welcomed with a really nice local cake. The kitchen is full of service, is there all necessary and there are some fruits juices, milks and skyr free to eat. Great moments in this place we recommend.

Excellent place in a very quiet scenic area. The restaurant offers delicious food. And the breakfast was abundant, with a good choice of food and very fresh.

Old Cottages has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Höfn, 12 km from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. The chalet has private entrance.

The location was fantastic, and we loved being able to see and hear the waterfall from the loft bedroom. We only stayed one night, but it was the most magical night of our entire trip as we got to see the northern lights dancing over the waterfall.
