Our first impression of the hotel was that it looked much larger and more beautiful than in the pictures. We stayed in the family suite, which is a spacious 50 m², perfect for the three of us. The room offers a stunning view, is clean, modern, and well-designed, with a clever TV partition separating the bed from the sofa bed. The bathroom is also impressive, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. Additionally, the room comes with a refrigerator, which was very convenient. The location is ideal for visiting nearby attractions such as Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the ice caves. The hotel’s dinner was delicious, though on the pricier side. The only downside was that the room felt too dark, and we had to request additional lamps to brighten it up.

The buffet breakfast was nice. Our dinner was fantastic, except it was a bit expensive. We stayed in the family unit which was complete with a nice and well-equipped kitchen. The living area was big with dining table. The hotel is beside the beach which is very nice and beautiful.

Quiet, clean, and the perfect location to visit the glacial lagoon and black beach. We loved the large porch. It would have been great if the weather allowed for a view of the Northern Lights.

This was my favorite stay of our whole trip. The cutest little home and the most peaceful scenery. It is managed by the huge hotel in the area so it has all the nice amenities, but also kind of felt like I was visiting family because it was so cozy. Loved the full kitchen, the TV, the dining area for card games with family. They also light up the waterfall/mountainside at night which was stunning. Will dream of coming back to this spot when I think of my Iceland trip!

The location was amazing! Very remote and away from light pollution, so seeing the Northern Lights is a possibility. It’s right on the water against gorgeous mountains. My room was warm and the bed was so comfortable. Extremely clean. And for two nights, it was super cheap. I stayed here when I booked a glacier hike since the pickup spot was 15 minutes away (right next to Diamond Beach and Jokulsarlon lagoon). Staff was super friendly, and you get free coffee and tea whenever you want.

We stayed in one of the 3 cottages. Three bedrooms/two baths (one bedroom is in a loft). Nice common area. Full kitchen. Waterfall in the back. We went in winter so it was frozen, but still beautiful. If you're staying in a cottage you do need to check in at the hostel down the road so be sure and email them ahead. They have a restaurant a few blocks away that is delicious and they sell hand knitted authentic Icelandic sweaters there, too. About 20 minute drive from the lagoon/Diamond Beach. Highly recommend.

The room was spacious, and I liked the decorations. The breakfast also had a bit more variety compared to other guesthouses in Iceland

The place is in the middle of road and the view is stunning. The room is very spacious and the bed is comfortable. The shower pressure is a bit weak but it’s fine. The breakfast is nice, but there weren’t any veggies or fruits. All in all very good experience.
