My review is actually for the Hotel Geysir as we were upgraded. We originally booked Litli Geysir as there was 3 and hotel Geysir didn’t have triple rooms and this one did. When we arrived we were moved to hotel Geysir and given 2 rooms at no added charge. Everything was perfect. Staff lovely and accommodating; and food out of this world.

Very clean and original accommodation! It is very conveniently located between geysir and Gullfoss. We arrived in the pouring rain, which did not disturb us at all, but rather made the experience all the more relaxing and enjoyable! Breakfast included was very good and amenities in the room were appreciated (fridge, kettle, tea, coffee). Photos accurately represent the accommodation. We loved our stay here.

This was our second time to stay in this hotel. Percect location just a few steps from the geysir area. The breakfast is very good with a view to the Strokkur geysir. The rooms are comfortable (good beds, big windows, nice bathroom)

Its the Best place to stay in the golden Circle, the hot tub was incredible, we saw Amazon auroras, the owner was such a cool guy, the Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend it.

Haukadur was easy to get around and the geyser is very regular and worth seeing. No long walks available at the site. Visitors centre was okay although light on info as to the geology of the site and how geysers work. Good cafeteria.

I only stayed for one night and I didn't get to use the...

I only stayed for one night and I didn't get to use the kitchen but I could have stayed longer. Lovely kitchen and shared space with a fabulous view across the fields and to the Geyser so close. A lot of care and thought has been put into the guesthouses layout and decor. Quirky and beautiful.

The rooms are basic but very comfortable. The best part of this hotel is its location, which is very close to several must-see spots in this area of Iceland. I was also very lucky because, being in a rural area, I could see the Northern Lights from the hotel. Another strength of the hostel is its staff. They are very friendly and welcoming.

We was upgraded from the little Geysir to their main hotel and then upgraded to a deluxe suite. The whole experience was incredible the meal in the evening although expensive was absolutely delicious the breakfast was amazing. There is nothing I could fault this hotel for the staff were lovely and friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

Breakfast was super .... really lovely mix of food. Staff were so friendly. We had stayed in hotels previously and they had a little draft but not the Yurt it was super cosy, and no drafts so comfortable 😊
