Easy check in, everything worked perfect, internet and electricity was available all the time despite the storm that kept us locked up for 2 1/2 days in the property as all roads on southeast were closed. Solrún arranged extra accomodations and meals during storm, she took great care of every guest. Thanks.

MaltaThe location is perfect and ideally located close to the glacier, easy access and yet secluded. Clean, functionable and well thought out layout. Owner is very responsive. We enjoyed the use of the terrace and the large windows to watch sunset and spot the northern lights from. Would definitely stay here again.

The service was very good.
The service was very good. The reception and dining staff were amazing. Super friendly.
Dinner had good options and was delicious. Breakfast is fairly standard inclusive continental.
Location was 100/10 far more scenic than I expected. Right underneath a mountain and only a 15 min drive from guided tour meeting points and glaciers

Price was higher than other places we visited on the south of Island.

Hof, like many places in Iceland, is not really a town but a cluster of houses at the base of a mountain; there are no restaurants or services other than the hotel. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting Skaftafell National Park.

Adventure Hotel Hof is a comfortable, clean, modest hotel. Staff and friendly and helpful, and the meals are good. Adventure Hotel Hof is well suited for the budget conscious traveller. The setting is beautiful, but the town of Hof is very very small. Blink, and you’ll miss it!

The place is an excellent spot for Northern Lights hunting and experienced. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The wifi is seamless and parking is abundant. Highly recommended and great value for money. very near to Crystal Blue Ice cave tour if your coming from Reykjavik.

Hof seemed to be a small city, perfectly located if you are renting a car to see the area, we came from Vik, and we drove all over the Jökulsárlón and returned on the evening to the hotel. as every village in Iceland, you need to pay attention to the exit, but google map was able to find it and we didn't have any problems. We booked the 2 double room, assuming we needed to share the bathroom, little did we know that the two rooms are part of a cottage and it was like a big 2 bedroom house rather than 2 double room. Breakfast was amazing, and I suppose in aurora season, you can look up and see the northern like, but even if there is no season, waking up to the nature was mind blowing. it was perfect for us, 4 friends who did the ring road in 9 days!

The management of this hotel is extremely poor.
The information provided online about the accommodation was completely wrong, and I had to make an international call just to reach their staff.
After around 7 PM, the water supply suddenly stopped without any warning, so there was no water at all — I couldn’t even take a shower. It was unbelievable.
I messaged the property through the platform immediately, but received no response. Even Booking’s customer service didn’t reply!
It was truly awful and unacceptable!

We had one of the cottages with 3 bedrooms. It was the perfect size for our group. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed to cook a few dinners during our stay here (we had picked up groceries in Vik as there were not any grocery stores in this area). There is a hotel with a restaurant up the road as well This was a great location to explore Skaftafell Park and the Glacial Lagoons on our stop around the Ring Road. We stayed for two nights here. The host was quite welcoming and helpful.

A very conveniently located hotel for adventures on the glaciers of the south east and close to other attractions as well, such as Skaftafell National Park and the Glacier Lagoon. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and very friendly staff.
