The house is warm and cozy. The view is just spectacular and the room is plenty of window for you to enjoy it! The kitchen and the bathrooms have all the comforts that you need. To arrive there is a little off-road to do, but it is well maintained and we had no problem.

I loved the hospitality and hygiene at Arnanes. Everything looked so clean and nice. And also the way the hotel is situated in nature is amazing. A great view upon the mountains, that's even more beautiful with sunrise and sunset! The owners were very friendly and always in for a chat, and even some sightseeing and aurora advice. Bonus for Dutch travelers: the owner also speaks a good amount of Dutch! I'm definitely coming back to this hotel if I visit Iceland again. Really enjoyed my stay there.

We got a corner room from where the view was amazing to the mountains. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the staff was super kind. The breakfast was really like in a bigger hotel, so many options, fruits, pastries, cereal, everything you fancy before a long day of travelling/hiking.
