We found the accommodation to be perfect for us, three adults traveling together. We were able to wash and dry our clothes overnight, and found the little kitchenette quite satisfactory to cook an evening meal. The owner came to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable, which was lovely and very much appreciated. If we come back to Iceland, we will stay here again

This little piece of Eden is situated in the middle of nowhere, yet it's extremely easily approachable. Beautiful calm environment, with direct view of the Aurora (when it happens of course). It was very clean and calm, especially the slow mornings with the sunrise. The house is on flat area, so it's easy to maneuver, but you're surrounded with mountains, so the view is great. The colors of the sun in this part of the countryside was truly beautiful.

This was a great apartment. Warm and exceptionally clean with a small kitchen. the beds were very comfortable and the TV was a plus. Also, it is located in a very peaceful area. Would 100% recommend.

We like everything in this place. You can find everything on place: in rooms; in kitchen; in bathroom. Even on the terrace! We travelled to see aurora and I think it is the best place to see it :). Thora is best host we ever had in the past. Contact is via Booking message only, but any question is answered just in minute. We felt like in our own house during this trip. I strongly recommend this place.

It's not close to town which makes it a good location for...

It's not close to town which makes it a good location for stargazing or catching the northern lights if the weather cooperates. There aren't many cottages giving you a degree of privacy that feels exclusive. It's close enough to Selfoss to be convenient for dining and basic needs. We used it as a springboard to all of Southwestern Iceland as far as Vik. Great location! The property owners live on site and are amazingly responsive to any issue in addition to being courteous communicators.
