Very cozy stay at Ingvar's Guesthouse. We were a group of four so we had the whole guesthouse for us. The living room is very cozy. There is a smart tv and board games. The kitchen has everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. The view on the fjiord is nice.

The lodge was absolutely wonderful, right on the shore it was so peaceful and lovely being able to look out at the sea. We were lucky enough to see the Northern lights the night we stayed and with no light pollution it was incredible. Inside it has everything you need, was cozy well equipped and comfortable. The owners really have thought of everything and communication was excellent in the run up to our stay, we were sad we only got to stay one night!

The keys were exactly where the host said they would be, so access to the cottage was a breeze. The location is easy to find, quiet, and private. We loved that there were utensils available and a coffee machine with reusable ceramic cups. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was extremely spacious with towels included. Thank you also for having wash cloths, which is not always the standard in Iceland.

Lovely little cottage with wonderful owners. It still smells new and everything is in perfect shape. The wonderful red sunset, which we could watch from our patio, was an extra bonus thrown in. Beautiful area, where we saw seals sunbathing ;). Parking right behind the room is convenient as well.

Hvitserkur ocean rock was a waste of time.

Hvitserkur ocean rock was a waste of time. The road to get there is bumpy and gravel. The viewing platform does not get you the close up picture you see online. The get the close up you have to climb down a cliff that is posted with danger signs (not meant for young children), and the tide has to be all the way out. Kolugljufur canyon is pretty. We would have enjoyed hiking the trails in that area but didn't have time.

Good place to stay away from main road and city for calm and cozy atmosphere. This place is surrounded by lush green tress and guest house is a perfect place to stay. Tipin the dog at Guest house is perfect to play with kids and a dog is playing with kids, he is the attraction of all the stay at this place.

All good except having to chase up room code at our accommodation. What ever happened to front desk? As a former hotel operator this is just so cheap. Very sad that this is the way tourism has progressed.

Small town but it has everything you need.

Small town but it has everything you need. The harbour is nice and it was visited by seals, tonnes of birds and a whale during our visit. The restaurant is also good and has a supermarket. Seems like a good place to catch the northern lights.

Staying Eyri Seaside was awesome however, we were there on a Saturday night and there was only one place to eat and it didn’t open until 6:00 pm. It was good but, nothing else in town was open. The grocery store, the gas station, the liquor store were all closed. We found that kind of frustrating being that we had hoped to pick up a few items from the grocery store.

This was a good budget stay for us on our ring road tour.

This was a good budget stay for us on our ring road tour. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner menu was nice after a long day of driving. Pay attention to the check in time- we arrived early and it looked abandoned but we got checked in and had a nice stay

Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us. What an amazing and cozy house. It’s truly exceptional. So clean as well. Best place we stayed in Iceland. The house has everything you need and much more. Hot tub and sauna was an amazing addition after our cold and long day. The pancakes with your homemade jam reminded of home. ❤️ I can’t imagine if it could get better than this. Home with a soul. The only our sorry, we came too late and stayed only 1 night. We wish to be there for longer. Thank you again.
