The cottage is located in breathtakingly beautiful surroundings, you can see fjords right outside the window, horses grazing in front of the bay. A very special place, highly recommended if you are looking for a beautiful and secluded getaway. The cottage itself was very comfortable, warm, not suited for cooking though, but there is a village nearby with a restaurant and shop. We ended up there due to unexpected circumstances and the owner of the place was extremely helpful, could not imagine a better place to end up in. Appreciate it very much, thank you!

We really enjoyed the calmness of pure nature and the Chalet which was not only bigger than all the other cottages in that area but also offered more than enough tools to feel at home within a few minutes. The host family is the cherry on top! Really welcoming and assist you in every way possible. You gotta try the fresh mountain tab water- better than Fiji or Voss! ;)

Very nice guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. It is good if you are on your way from Akureyri to Reykjavik. There is hot water and tea all the time and there is a fridge where you can put your food. Breakfast was ok. I would recommend this place for one night stay.
