Simple yet nice hotel. They have a restaurant and bar in the premises, which was nice since everything else is out of walking range (but short drive). We had dinner and breakfast here, it was all pretty good.

I enjoyed living in a home designed by an award winning architect. Beautifully appointed with everything to expect in a luxury home. A short drive to glacier hikes and puffin tour. It was a splurge but worth it.

Good Nordic style breakfast, excellent bacon :). Room was comfortable, with sealed blinds to block evening sun. Excellent location to explore Diamond beach or to go Puffin watch trip. Lot of parking space for all hotel quests

Absolutely everything. Regina was absolutely lovely and actually gave us an upgrade as she had a cancellation and it was my partners birthday, which we were very taken aback by. So much kindness in Iceland. We asked about northern lights and the likelihood of the showing up that night and Regina kindly looked up the index for us - we got so incredibly lucky and actually saw them on our first night and my partner turned 30 under the northern lights. The location itself is absolutely stunning and incredibly remote. During the night, standing outside was spectacular - absolute silence. The workings of The Potato Storage is incredibly green and economic. The kitchen is decked out perfectly with everything you need to cook your own food. it was just ideal and exactly what we wanted. It was the highlight of our stay. They also have canvas prints of Klaus’ photography in the studios which I thought was a lovely personal touch. Thank you Regina and Klaus for your hospitality and kindness ✨

Everything! Peaceful location very close to Skaftafell National Park and Jokulsarlon Lagoon. The space was super well divided with brand new furniture and all one can need, and very clean. The view was really beautiful.
