possibly one of the best accommodations in Iceland, cottages on the coast in the south of Iceland with amazing views of the countryside, providing plenty of privacy, very comfortable beds, high quality Icelandic Soley cosmetics, cleanliness. Friendly staff who gave practical information about the area., exclusive breakfast consisting of homemade products such as local smoked salmon, tuna salad, homemade skyr, homemade marmalade, hummus, fruit, vegetables, cheese, lamb and turkey ham, homemade bread (including Icelandic banana bread), knackebrot, etc.

The family-owned Stafafell Cottages is located on a sheep farm in the countryside, 30 km from Höfn village. Each cottage has well-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with shower.

Quiet, not too far from main road. Good place for watching Northern Light and star glazing. Kitchen quite well equipped and good for cooking simple cooking. Sufficient space for 4 person. Many heating panels in the house, so its not cold at night.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in their sister hotel (4 stars) in Reykjavik and the five of us preferred the one in Höfn. The breakfast is not extremely big in variation but high-quality products. Apparently, they try to do a lot by themselves or source locally.

Boasting panoramic views towards the famous Vatnajökull glacier and the surrounding mountains, Árnanes Country Hotel offers free Wi-Fi. The harbour town of Höfn is only 6 km away.

The couple working there were fantastic. Very welcoming and thoughtful. We had a problem with our car and they fetch us and helped us in everything we needed it. Fantastic! Besides, the huts are very comfortable.

The room is really spacious, beds are comfortable and they do have big, dark curtains, so in june-july we were able to have “night” in the room.

I was fortunate to have a free room upgrade through booking.com. My room was massive! I was originally supposed to be staying in my rented campervan, but the local campsite was closed and the weather forecast was for rain. I'm sorry I never got the lady's name on the front desk, but she was amazing! Really lovely and engaging. Recommended that I go to the local pool for a soak in their hot tubs. Best advice ever! Great selection for breakfast

I was a bit skeptical to go in a hostel but I must say this could be classified as a 5 star hostel. Kitchen was very big with lots of equipment, the living and eating area was also super big and modern, with very nice furniture. Staff was also very nice and polite.
