The accommodation was exceptional. It is a bit isolated, at 1-2 km from the ring road, with nothing but nature around, making it very quiet. The room is like a small chalet, with a large window next to the bed. As it snowed in the night we stayed, the view from the bed was really nice. The owner was very considerate and we had a smooth communication. Also, he left us a souvenir for good luck, which we really appreciated. In the fridge we had some snack for breakfast or for the road. In a nutshell, we loved this nice, warm and welcoming place.

This was booked very last minute - i.e. the night before - after a change of holiday schedule. There was some confusion at the hotel about our two cabins resulting in one cabin being given away to another late booking by mistake. The staff were super helpful and apologetic, found us another room and only charged for one cabin. This place was simple, clean and charming. Thank you!

this hotel is immersed in nature and has beautiful views. rooms are large and equipped with all you need. hotel staff is very nice and friendly and helpful too. and what about their food. great dinner in the evenings to complete the day with their small but mouth watering menu, and breakfast in the morning was the best i had during my 12 days in Iceland. Highly recommended. Would love to be there again :)
