What can I say we booked for 1 night and stopped for 4. The hotel is in a great location across from the lake in easy walking distance to the ferry and some beautiful walks. The rooms are lovely and spacious and very clean. The reception staff have been really helpful with advise were to visit and always asking how our day has been. Breakfast is served on the three floor with a terrace overlooking the lake which just starts your day perfectly. Thank you for our amazing holiday we will definitely be back. Thank you

Friendly personal. Tasty breakfast. For vegans there is an option of cappuccino with soya milk. Also it was a pleasure to talk to Russian speaking girl - she is a waitress at the buffet. We have found a beautiful restaurant in 5 min from hotel. It called Del Torchio Al Tavolo. It’s a family restaurant. I don’t remember the name of the owner, but he was such a nice to us. Tasty food. Inspired stories and vibes. Generally - all is good. Italians are extremely kind people with open souls 🙏. We would love to come back again and again in this beautiful country.

This boutique hotel is quite unique and one of the best accommodations we have ever experienced. The house is somewhat secluded and hidden, but once you get there, all the facilities and services are absolutely fantastic. The room we were in was large, 40 m2 with a terrace and a view over the valley and down to the lake. The bathroom was elegant with a large bathtub and good facilities. The house is very beautiful and well renovated and has only rooms for 4 couples. The couple Fabío and Chiovanna who own and run the place are truly exceptional hosts, they prepare breakfast themselves from ingredients from the region and we chose to have dinner on site prepared by the hosts the 2 nights we stayed there which we can definitely recommend.

Cute balcony to enjoy coffee or a meal with a view of the medieval castle, Rocca di Angera (well worth a visit!). Immaculately presented, spacious apartment. Huge, comfortable super king-sized bed. Smart TV with access to Amazon Prime and YouTube. Large kitchen with coffee machine. Brand new bathroom with a shower worthy of a luxury hotel. Excellent location: Angera is a delightful, low-key lakeside town with a port offering boat trips all around the lake. The apartment is just a two-minute walk from a great supermarket, a bakery, the lakefront, the local food market (Thursday mornings—a must-visit), and the best pizzeria in all of Lake Maggiore (De Vita Pizzeria, truly deserving of its many five-star reviews online!). Best host I’ve ever encountered in all my travels! We arrived at Milan Malpensa airport at night in the pouring rain with huge bike boxes, only to discover that the minivan airport transfer we had booked was a scam. Our host performed nothing short of a miracle by calling around and arranging a friend of a friend with a minivan to pick us up and bring us to Angera. Without this above-and-beyond help, we would have been stranded. Be warned! A scam company, COSMO S.N.C. di Meloni Stefania, operates multiple fake taxi websites that take bookings and payments but never show up: airportstaxitransfers.com, milan-airport-transfers.com, and olbiaairporttaxi.com. We successfully used transfeero.com for our return trip to the airport with oversized luggage.

Angera is a small town with a nice park at the edge of the lake. Ferry terminal with regular crossings to Ancona ( 5 minutes on ferry ) which had a large choice of restaurants and cafes. Angera seemed very quiet and would be a good base for exploring the area.

Angera is a very pretty little town on Lake Maggiore,...

Angera is a very pretty little town on Lake Maggiore, northern Italy. It's about 40 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport. It has good restaurants and a great gelateria. The Rocca is well worth visiting and a day on the lake is to be recommended.

Bye now, till next time Giovanna and Fabio, the wonderful host couple of @cascinacanee 🌻This little Boutique Hotel by the Lago Maggiore is a real gem, where you can feel like being at home and as a warmly welcomed guest, at the same time. 🌻Special thanks to Chef Fabio for enjoyable breakfasts and dinners based on local incredients and recipies, with some South African flavours. 🌻Thanks also for good tips for the daytrips, there is so much to see and experience close by Angera.

Brandnew apartment in the centre of Angera. The renting company reacted immediately on my messages (all contact went by WhatsApp and Booking). Kitchen was well equipped. When I asked for a proper coffee machine they brought it the next day. Parking is right in front of the apartment which is a real luxury because Irish difficult to find a parking place in Angera.

The hotel is in a good position in the centre of Angera near the lakefront. There are a few decent restaurants and bars nearby which you can walk to. The staff were very friendly & welcoming.
