    So beautiful, I wish I would have gotten the room with a view and small frig but they were great and put some things in there frig for us- parking close and only 3,50 a day. Loved being across from ferry, very handy . Breakfast was great! Restaurant for dinner was great too.

    Lovely town with easy transport links via bus and ferry terminal. Nice restaurants Nice gelato Nice morning espresso/coffee Nice lido to cool off in the summer heat. We travelled all over lake como to many lovely towns and we were not disappointed with the decision to choose argegno as our base if anything it exceeded our expectations. Proceed with caution when booking accommodation as argegno is rather hilly like many villages around como what may appear to be a short 10 minute walk on a map could be a full on hill hike.

    It was ok. Small with a few nice restaurants. Ferry was handy from there. Visiting Locanda Sant'Anna in the mountains is an amazing restaurant with stunning food and views - if you get the opportunity DO visit, you wont be disappointed. No supermarket. Need a car really to get around.

    Lovely little village right on the lake.

    Lovely little village right on the lake. A few pretty shops, not touristy, on the Piazza. The bars and restaurants served good food & drinks at reasonable prices, staff always friendly & happy. A small grocery shop for essentials like fruit & milk, a great icecream shop (very popular!). Easy to catch ferries and buses to other villages, some good walks, a cable car up the mountain gave an amazing view over the lake. A swim in the lake was fun, a little hard to get into the water near the piazza but easier further up.

    Argegno is a small city but it’s really very relaxing and you could stay there to return your energy. There aren’t many restaurants or things that you could do. So, if you want to relax and enjoy the lake with mountains view, you have to go Argegno.

    Argegno is a beautiful area with many restaurants offered than the nearby counterparts. There is also a bar to enjoy to. We had the pre wedding cocktail party at the Villa Belvedere by the lake. The food were delicious. Argegno location has stunning backdrop of the Lake and nature collides. The clouds will come down and the touch the mountain forest in the morning or in the afternoon. Its such a beautiful thing to see. Because Argegno is a bit regional or far from Como Lago, you will find English language is hard to come by. Taxi is difficult to find. Even if you will find a number to call through your host or by the post, your call most likely will never be answered like mine! Their so called taxi in Argegno is a private taxi. Do not expect the word “TAXI” printed on the car. Highly recommended to get your own car rental sorted out before heading to this beautiful location. However, the road will give you an adrenalin rush. It is narrow. Two big cars are a crowd :). Small car would make a difference navigating to the road.

    This hotel was great value - similar hotels around Lake Como are similarly priced or much more expensive, and the view is fantastic, We loved the 'balcony' in our room - it's more of a railing overlooking the lake but it's still spectacular. The room was clean and spacious and had good air con, as it was very hot. The location is also great as Argegno has a few great restaurants and cafes, plus the hotel is opposite the ferry terminal so you can get around easily.

    Stunning views from the balcony and easy check-in. Quiet and safe area in the small town of Argegno. Parking available and home had all the necessities, even some wine selections. Just a 10 minute walk down to the local cafe’s and shops. Did Como proud and gave us a chance to see some of the best views.

    Very nice and clean apartment, super view on the Como Lake from the balcony, you could easily walk to a small beach and to the center of Argegno, nice friendly people, Argegno is a small picturesque place with a few restaurants, private garagebox for your car.
