The location, within castle walls, was spectacular, the views were stunning, and the hosts made the visit memorable with their hospitality and delicious food. Be sure to opt-in for the dinner! The bedroom and bathroom were updated while retaining the original character. We didn’t want to leave this magical place.

I traveled and stayed here recently with my family, at the entrance we were met with Giuseppe who was the most amazing host ever. The room was beautiful, comfy and spacious. The view was amazing. The history of the place is spectacular. Giuseppe was an excellent host, he met us every morning for breakfast with a smile. The breakfast options were amazing and there was something there for everyone. We absolutely loved our visit, and we will definitely be returning soon. The location is amazing, there is so much to see in the Umbrian hills and the food is just deliziosa specially the tartufo. Cannot recommend this location enough. I stayed in the hotel with my family for one night (19.07.-20.07.2024), I could have stayed longer if I had known how cool this place is and the vacation would have been longer. The hotel has magnificent, breathtaking views across the valley in two directions. Breakfast is classic Italian, as it should be. The coffee tasted good and the views from the breakfast terrace were fantastic. There are several places to eat dinner and a supermarket within a short drive. A good bonus is the pool where you can cool off from the hot summer weather. The manager is a very friendly and very positive person.☀️ Thank you!🙏 I definitely recommend this place.

Arrone is such a peaceful little gem tucked into the Umbrian hills. It’s quiet, authentic, and full of charm — the kind of place that makes you slow down without even realizing it. The views from the top of the village are beautiful, especially in the evening, and you can walk everywhere since it’s quite small. I loved wandering through the stone streets and chatting with locals — everyone was kind and welcoming. Definitely try the local olive oil; it’s honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect for a calm weekend away or a stop if you’re exploring southern Umbria.

This is a fantastic place! It is a small mountain village where it seemed like most of the houses were occupied by locals meaning there were very few tourists. The view from the mountain is awesome, the pool is great (10 min walk from the hotel) and the breakfast is nice. The apartment was very clean and newly renovated. Giuseppe runs this place and he takes care of everything in the best possible way - it was such a pleasure staying there!

Such an amazing find! We had a wedding to attend in the area and are so glad we found this gem in Arrone! Really cute apartment with cooking and washing facilities and the most amazing balcony with a beautiful view of the village and surrounding area. So nice to have our breakfast out on the terrace!! Rita was extremely helpful with recommendations and advice and we wished we could have stayed for longer!

I was walking so found the hotel a little away from the major hub of the area, and the walk was along a busy road. I arrived early and the rooms were not ready but this was not a problem and I was allowed leave my gear in the room and use the lovely pool. The cleaning staff were really lovely, as. was the receptionist. Breakfast was good and was available from 7.30am

Our stay at Arrone was the highlight of our fortnight visit to Italy, made special by our host Marco. Arrone is magical, a medieval hill top village that is devoid of tourists. The little church, situated only 25 yards from the accommodation contains frescoes that were painted by Caravaggio’s tutor.
